Juan Browne is a local Grass Valley pilot that flies for American Airlines. He has made a
name for himself as an investigative journalist covering local disasters like the Oroville
spillway, seasonal fires and local, regional and national aviation mishaps. His YouTube
channel has grown exponentially shedding a light on aviation and systems safety
globally. He grew up on tree farm here in Grass Valley and worked his way up to
becoming a pilot at the local airport pumping gas, washing planes and restoring
airtankers back to warbirds until attending college and joining the United States Air
Force where he served for ten years as an instructor pilot and cargo pilot. He went on to
serve as a Flight Officer with American Airline for the last 25 years flying airline
transport aircraft with his most recent qualifications being in the Boeing 777. He has
numerous personal aircraft and is very involved in mentoring and supporting youth in
their developing aviation careers.

Tonight, on The Sages Among Us, host Kimberly Ewing chats with Lovie Bucknell a local community leader in mental health and the arts. She recently founded Kindred Heart Therapy non-profit, she teaches Modern Dance at Sierra College, and she is an advocate for the local skateboarding community.
