I love the Mix of Supernatural & Ice & Endless Night

The “True Detective, Night Country” Podcast was the first ‘Companion Podcast’ I've ever listened to. I was not disappointed. At all.
I love hearing from the author, and the experts who made the story feel true,
and the landscape feel real.
The thing that fascinated me the most,while watching the 1st Ep of the series, were the supernatural elements. I loved the beginning… the elk running off the cliff. But I love the woman- who does not question her communication with the dead, as she’s eventually led to the missing scientists, even more.
Because they made that feel entirely real...
I hope we get to hear more about that in an upcoming podcasts. I look forward to all of them. CRD

Justice!

I loved hearing the backstories to this season of True Detective. While some viewers are enamored with the first season, each season of the show brings its own energy. We see the impact of these cases on the detectives. The hero’s journey. The real boogeyman that we are afraid of are the truths we need to face in order to grow. This is a series about courageously facing our truths and the power we gain when we bring them to the light.

Excellent Companion Podcast

This was an excellent companion podcast for the show "True Detective: Night Country".

Really enjoyed hearing behind the scenes details from the amazing crew and outstanding cast of this season. The storytelling was simply brilliant on both the podcast and the show!

I am sad that both this season and this podcast are complete.

I really love it all . Love the way they came up with the series and hearing the behind the scenes

I like that they took the time to visit and talk to the people in the Arctic.

well done podcast, interesting

We get the back story on the different characters and why they did what they did. So much to think about as we watch the series. Listen to the podcast after each episode = so good and the suspense keeps building.

Night! All of the time for 2 months…

I love True Detective, especially season 1. Until Night Country…Jodie Foster is one of my favorite actors, of all time. She certainly doesn’t disappoint in this series. I grew up watching her, and now that I’m older, it is wonderful that she is still truly amazing, and should give all females in our generation hope! I love that the two detectives are badasses…strong, independent women in the most rugged setting I can imagine. Amazing!

This podcast is the perfect one to explore this season. The presenter is awesome! My new fav podcast :)

Excellent Season and Companion Podcast!

This season of True Detective was so powerful. The podcast really gives insight into the writing, acting, and filming decisions. It was all very interesting. Even more importantly, the podcast delves into the community and struggles of the indigenous peoples that informed the season. The cast and crew of strong women is also to be applauded. I enjoyed the presenter’s tone and expertise. I highly recommend both the series and the podcast.

Love it!

I've only watched 2 of the episodes and 2 of the podcasts, but I really like the podcast hostess, as well as insights from the series participants. There are also featured clips and sound effects that make a great addition. I'm now going back to max to watch the episodes again to see if I missed any details!
