Ty Valkanas is a former US Navy SEAL and former Chula Vista Police Officer. As a man who values family, he looked for the opportunity to start his own business to have more family time and make his own schedule.

After an 11 year career in the SEAL Teams, Ty chose a career change for his family and started working as a police officer for the City of Chula Vista CA after completing the police academy. Shortly after starting, he realized the cop job was not going to give him the time he wanted with his family. Ty began wholesaling real estate to create a cashflow business model in 2001. He was able to resign from the police department in 2003 and run his real estate investment company full time.

As the business grew, Ty began implementing multiple facets to real estate investing. The real estate companies revolved around single family home rehabilitation, rental properties, entitlement projects, condo-conversions, several development projects, and diversification into other businesses.

Since 2007 Ty has bought, built, sold, and/or holds interest in 5 other businesses in addition to the real estate projects completed over the last 20+ years.
