  • 105 | Irish Acres: From Family Farm to Glamping Haven – A Story of Heritage, Healing, and Mystical Moments
    Oct 22 2024

In this episode, we take a journey to Irish Acres, a fifth-generation family farm in New London, Wisconsin, that’s embracing reinvention as a glamping retreat. Once one of 13 original Irish farms in the area that started in 1849—and now one of only two still standing—Irish Acres is on a mission to reconnect people with the land, foster healing, and become a hub for community and connection once more.

Our guest, Jane Mulroy, shares the farm’s rich history, from its immigrant roots to its exciting transformation. As they began the monumental task of building four cabins for overnight stays, the land itself seemed to speak—mysterious events unfolded, including the unexpected appearance of chalices and curious portals, hinting at the farm’s mystical legacy.

Whether you're seeking a place to slow down, breathe deeply, or experience a bit of magic, this episode invites you into a story where heritage, nature, and the spirit of place come together. Join us for a conversation that’s part history, part healing, and fully enchanting.

Tune in and discover how Irish Acres is creating a space for others to connect with the land—and perhaps even something beyond.

If you’re ready to shift from feeling stuck to seeing all you’ve gained, or if you’ve ever wondered what a 10x mindset could unlock for you, this one’s for you. Whether you're ready to become a millionaire, shift your focus from what’s missing to what you’ve gained, or align your goals with your true desires, this episode will inspire you to evaluate life through a whole new lens.

  • 100 | From Periods to Presidency: Generation Z's Bold Visions
    Sep 17 2024

In this special 100th episode of You Betcha She Did, we dive into the thoughts and aspirations of Wisconsin's Generation Z— young women who are poised to shape the future.

As a special side project of the Women's Leadership Conference put on by New Sage Strategies this October, I was able to interview several teenage women leaders from Northeast Wisconsin. In this special episode, they share their dreams, concerns, and inspirations, offering a powerful glimpse into the next generation’s mindset.

Their insights on vulnerability, representation, and future goals are both eye-opening and deeply inspiring, reminding us of the importance of supporting young women in their journey toward leadership and equality.

Here are three key takeaways from this episode:

    1. The Power of Vulnerability
Many young women bravely step outside their comfort zones, discussing stigmatized topics and advocating for important issues. Their courage reminds us that vulnerability is a strength, and by sharing our own stories, we can foster a more open and empowered community.
    2. The Importance of Representation
Concerns about the lack of female leadership were prevalent, highlighting the need for more women in business, government, and STEM fields. This serves as a powerful reminder that when young girls see women in positions of power, it encourages them to pursue their own dreams without limits.
    3. Dreaming Big for the Future
From aspirations of a woman president to the elimination of gender inequality, these young women envision a world of equal opportunities for all. It’s a call to action for us to support the next generation, ensuring they have the tools and encouragement to achieve their bold dreamss

A special Thank You to Vicki Updike, New Sage Strategies, Madison Wilcox, Maggie Johnson, Laurel Golson, Elle Trampe, CoCo Guiou, and Chloe Godlewski for sharing their voices and thoughts for this episode.
