Coast to Coast Michigan Mysteries Series

After the death of her husband, Claire is finding it hard to adjust to being a widow in Northern Michigan. She and her cat quickly find themselves surrounded by visitors, including her best friend, Laurel. The empty house soon feels more like home, until a raven mysteriously appears inside, resulting in a disastrous mess, and a new friend for houseguest Charles, an eccentric ornithologist. Although the company initially offers the support and distraction Claire needs, random attacks soon escalate, and no one is safe.

Laurel and Arnie are delighted when their friends Claire and Charles join them for a visit at their summer home. Tucked away on beautiful Manistique Lake in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, it’s the perfect place for everyone to relax and enjoy all the state has to offer. Their vacation doesn’t stay peaceful for long, however, when former cop Arnie is drawn into an ongoing investigation. Although it appears the victim, Maddy Pierce, may have committed suicide, other evidence points to the possibility of murder.

When Arnie refuses surgery for his bum knee, Laurel takes the family on a relaxing trip to the beautiful sunset coast on Lake Michigan to recuperate. Accompanying them are Arnie’s sixteen-year-old son, Sawyer, and things are made even better when their close friends Claire and Charles join them for a visit.
