My husband has horns, hooves, fur, and a tail. His Krampus-like appearance didn't scare me away from marrying him. During a mission on planet Tragul, I have the misfortune to get stranded with Lieutenant Agan Drankai, the most arrogant prick in the entire alien army of the country Ravie. When he and I end up separated from the rest, we get captured and brought to a secret lab supposedly operated by our allies. A rogue scientist performs an illegal experiment on Agan, which finally allows the cocky lieutenant to get a taste of his own medicine.

Aliens came to Earth to abduct our women, but it backfired. Now they're returning them, and I'm in charge of shuttling women back from orbit. Ever since I first laid my eyes on the alien ship's commander, I've had a crush on him. Who can blame me? He's tall and gorgeous, with skin the color of midnight. He has a voice that can purr or roar and seven long tails that he really knows how to use. I know I can't have him. I've never even spoken to him. But when an incident renders the commander unconscious, I have no choice but to take him to my remote hunting cabin.

But he also turns out to be charming and easygoing, with an intriguing secret tail he keeps hidden from view. I sense Greyx is what heartache is made of. And I avoid taking risks in my life.
