Rich Coleman

Richard Coleman has made partner in his law firm in record time. Despite his success there is little joy in his life having recently lost his wife in an auto accident. It's been over a year now and he has tried to adjust to the loneliness and emptiness in his life with little success. Then he meets Erica Fox, the 17-year-old daughter of the firm's high-rolling client, Franklin Fox.

When Ryan hears this he remembers his father has written a true crime book about the murder of Martha Collins, his mother's aunt. When he tells Amanda about the manuscript she is ecstatic about the possibility that it could be her first placement. Unfortunately, she soon discovers that Rich and his wife, Erica, don't want the book published but won't say why.
