Tribulation

As tribulation engulfs the world, Grace Winslow does her best to prepare for the inevitable persecution. When she gets word that government agents are coming for the remaining Christians, she’s ready to run. Or so she thought. Grace flees to the mountains with her aunt, intending to join a small group of Christians who would face imprisonment or death at home. But as troubles grow into conflicts, living with strangers in a survival crisis proves far more difficult than she’d imagined.

After surviving a terrifying experience in the Canadian wilderness, Grace Winslow struggles with a deadly disease. At the same time, new concerns fracture the group of persecuted saints. Some consider leaving for perceived safety deeper in the forest. Meanwhile, Maxwell Flynn finds himself drawn to Grace’s selfless character and charming personality. At any other time in history, he’d fall head over heels for her. But the world has never seen times like these, and he needs to keep his focus on providing for - and protecting - the fragile group hiding in the woods.

While attempting to rescue a young orphan, Maxwell Flynn becomes separated from his brother and the rest of the small group of persecuted Christians. Grace Winslow, distraught at the loss of Max and Jonah, is forced to make a tough decision: stay with the group, or go search for the two missing members? Since they lost their sanctuary camp in the Canadian wilderness, the group’s struggle for basic survival grows more challenging by the day. Where can they hide? How will they find safe water? When will they have their next meal?
