The Holy Quran is comprised of 114 suwar (plural of surah, or chapter), each divided into verses. The shortest surah (Al-Kawthar) has only three verses while the longest (Al-Baqarah) contains 286 verses.

The Noble Quran, literally meaning "the recitation", also romanized Qur'an or Koran, is the central religious text of Islam, which Muslims believe to be a revelation from Allah SWT (God). Surat al-Baqarah (The Cow) is the second surah of the Qur'an. It addresses a wide variety of topics, including law and the stories of Adam, Abraham and Moses, to name a few.
