About this listen

Abducted by a hunky blue alien, researcher and admitted geek Penny is eager to study his mating habits - in the flesh. She'd like to blame her illogical affection for him on hormones, but the erotic remedy just heightens her chemical imbalance.

Reg never thought a simple rescue mission would make him question his decision to remain single, for while Penny drives him crazy with her never-ending questions, her simple presence inflames his lust - and causes havoc with his emotions. But is he ready to give up the galactic travel he loves so much to settle down with an earthling female?

Loved every minute!

How my hat - Reg just set me off as a real bachelor. He made me laugh with his blunt answers and his inner dialogue. He is blue and I am so sure he that although his ball might have been blue - he still got the case of the proverbial blue balls.

Penny, she is just crazy. She doesn't swear and this has her making up some funny substitutes. I just loved her and her questions. She was a real scientist. poor Reg, bombarded by questions when he was first accused of abducting her and then eventually he was accepted as her alien-rescuer.

Penny questions everything and Reg is just such a male with his poor head swirling with Penny's question. I found this audio book so hilarious. I was listening to it at work and I was just giggling all of a sudden - and I got a few looks from my fellow colleagues. But this is the true style of Eve Langais. The humor and dialogue between the characters will have you in stitches.
The narrator Logan McAllister made this even more hilarious with the way he represented these characters. I loved it!

Loved it! So much probing going on.

Oh my gosh, for such a short book I was highly entertained. Penny is so stubborn and used to doing as she wanted when she wanted, which I am glad she grew to listen and trust Reg in his knowledge of things outer space. I was really glad to listen to the relationship really develop. Reg just never knew what he was missing, until thrust upon him. I haven't read the others in the series, as this is book 3, but I found that it did not make much of a difference. It can be read as a standalone. The narrator did a awesome job, such a joy to listen to. The pace was perfect, the pitches was spot on. So much happens and there is great details, that you don't really realize how short the book is. It's not one of those rushed books that lacks anything interesting. I love Eve Langlais’ writing style, she breathes life into each character in such a way it teleports you into the world she builds. Awesome book, go grab your copy.

Hilarious Alien Love Story

Lots of laughs. On the short side but well worth a listen. Great to listen to whilst diving (without the kids) to and from the school run

This story was great when I read it and the narrator really made it a great listen. I enjoy his voice and infliction. He makes the characters distinct.

A Great Listen!

If you love Eve Langlais, then you will love this story. Its another story that is not only full of humor but it has the hotness and romance thrown in there too! Penny is hilarious and snarky and made me laugh extremely hard! Reg is the hot alien who has no idea what has truly hit him yet. And throwing them together will make you laugh as they try to learn how to deal with each other. The narration was great and made the listen perfect in my opinion. I loved every bit of it!

Better in audible than reading the book.

I believe this is the first audible book I think is better than the book itself. The humour comes across so well in audible. Good narration, I don’t know how these narrators can keep their voices so even reading some of this stuff. Reading this as a book I would laugh out loud but in audible I just kept giggling, much to my husbands amusement. The sex scenes were also really prominent on audible. BOOK REVIEW Loses a star for heroines’ stupidity in sneaking off the ship. What a cute fun read. Loved Reg and his not wanting a mate thinking and how the Oracle tricked him. Was finding Penny cute with all her questions until she does the TSTL trick of getting off the space ship after being told the port was not safe. Of course she gets into trouble and Reg has to save her. Then she gets all ratty with him when he tells her off. Apart from that one stupid incident this was a good fun read and I liked Ralph the AI computer. Did like the ending, really funny. I own the original version which has been read and reviewed previously but they are missing.

The Alien and the Earthling

Alien Mate 3 by Eve Langlais finds Reg being awarded the highest honour for a warrior, the chance to mate. But to be awarded a mate one must leave space and settle on the home planet of Xamia. Reg doesn't to give up space and being free to travel. As much as he wants to mate he tells the Oracle he refuses the honour. The Oracle tells him, that since he doesn't want a mate he has a mission to save an Earthling who is in the path of an asteroid and send him on his way.

Penny is on a one person space lab studying the effects of loneliness on an astronaut when the space center tells her she has 5 minutes to make her peace and say goodbye to her family before her vessel is hit by an asteroid. She has no family to say goodbye and doesn't want a scream to be her last words so she hangs up on the space center. That's when Reg appears to save her.

Once on Reg's ship Penny decides that since she was written off by Earth, she may as well go with Reg to explore space to quell her own curiosity. And let the games begin.

Fun, easy love story with an alien twist

This was a fun easy story filled with a hunky "man" (okay alien) and bombshell science woman. It has a joyous back and forth as you hear what each character is thinking. Easy escape from the chaos of life. I didn't love the narrator, so gave the performance 3 stars. Story was well worth the wooden narrator.

I am a Facebook friend of Ms. Langlais and was given a copy of this audiobook

Fated to Be

This was a funny story. Penny's non-stop questions and Reg's near intolerance to her questions was hilarious. He doesn't want a mate, but after rescuing her he starts having bodily complications like increased lust and heart palpitations. Fate can't be denied more matter how hard you try.

Story has alot of humor and some Alien probing

I really enjoyed this story. It has a hero and his mate. The female character tended to be a bit on the annoying side in the beginning with all her questions. The story has action, adventure a tiny bit of romance. Let’s just say that it was instaluv between the two characters, but not at first. The narrator did a good job narrating and the descriptions of the different planets was amazing, especially the description of the one scene in the bar where Reg has to rescue Penny. This was a quick, fun and easy listen with some very hot scenes of probing. I would recommend this to fans of Eve Langlais and to fans of scifi romance with plenty of heat in the Alien probing. This is the first one of this series I listened too and wouldn't mind listening to the others.
