About this listen

Baby’s heat is coming…

After years of assuming she was a beta, discovering her omega designation in a biker bar surrounded by alphas isn’t exactly fulfilling any fantasies for Baby. She only wanted to have a fun night, not get knotted, bitten, and bonded. Now, Baby’s entire life is about to turn upside down. With her heat on its way, she needs to find a pack, a nest, and alphas she can trust.

The Late Night Howlers have given up hope…after years of waiting for an omega to choose them, this motorcycle club of alphas is ready to move on with their lives. Until one sweet woman takes a chance on them. A rundown bar and apartment building is no place to spoil a new omega, but the Howlers are determined to do right by Baby when she needs them. All they have to do is keep her satisfied while resisting the mouthwatering temptation to bite and bond her, permanently.

When a rival MC comes sniffing after Baby, her safety is put at risk, and the Howlers may be torn apart forever.

Love this world so much 😍😍😍

2022 Audiobook review

I was so excited to pick up this bad boy during the huge Audible end of summer sale this year and it did not disappoint. I think the only thing that hung me up was these are 2 of my favorite narrators for this author's bestie with her Steel Demons MC audiobooks haha so I kept thinking of those characters while listening. Despite that these narrators do a fabulous job with the characters, bringing them to life and bringing their emotions through the audio. I think the male narrator did a better job of being the different guys in the harem, the MC. and the other side characters. His voice tends to be great for the gruffer guy so Bullet was pure magic, but he also did a great job with the others, especially with the more evil guys that got their karmic justice in the end. The female narrator does a great job showing Baby's tenacity, meekness, and survivor mentality despite everything thrown at her. I imagined her voice different in my head but it was still an enjoyable listen and I will listen again in the future because I love the Sweetverse this author has cultivated ❤️❤️❤️

Original ebook 2019 review

I was definitely pleasantly surprised by this new book by Kathryn Moon!! I have read her Librarians Coven series and her Summerland series and I really enjoyed them, but this one blew it out of the park. I loved everything about it. I had some family stuff happen and this was an amazing escape and I stayed up late many nights continuing to read when I really should have been asleep. I read a lot of omegaverse but in the M/M space, not with a female omega. I really did like this and thought it was done very, very well.

I really loved Baby (and all the nicknames she got from the guys!) and her guys were amazing. I think I fell in love with them in turns, so I cant even pick my top 3 haha. I loved how cuddly Bullet was and how he taught her to protect herself. I love Seth for protecting her in the bar and being an amazing beta. I loved MacKenzie because I always fall for the nerdy ones but duuuuude in the bedroom, he was FIERCE! Tornado to me I think was the unsung one of the bunch. I loved his vulnerability and kinda wished we had more. Oh and he can cook curry for me anytime 😉. Oh and Ryan, I loved how he stepped up when he needed to, didnt let anyone dictate his relationship with Baby, and was just an all around amazing caretaker (and sexy to boot!). I think I kinda lost interest in Jonah and he didnt redeem himself enough with what he put Baby and the others through. But loving 5 out of the 6 guys is a total win in my book haha. I also loved the girl betas and the other alphas in the club, esp. Chef. I think Kathryn did a phenomenal job making me fall for these characters, root for them even though they aren't real, and beg for more even though this is a standalone (for Baby and her crew). I cannot wait to see what Kathryn does for Lo and hopefully gives her some amazing men to help heal her heart after the horrible things she must has gone through with the other MC crew.

Oh and totally saw the baddie coming, and WAS SO HAPPY HE GOT HIS COMEUPPANCE! Baby totally kicked butt and I could not be happier with how everything unfolded and ended. Ahhh can't say enough about this book. Definitely in my top 10 reads over the last year (I cant say this year since its only the 6th day into it, not giving it enough credit haha).

I think my only smidgen of a complaint was the various guys and their nicknames. It wasn't consistent with using the club name vs. their actual names and it kept changing all the time so I had to keep referring to the name and smell list in the back. At one point I wrote them down in a notebook so I wouldn't be confused. I think if it had swapped less it would have been easier. I know Baby and the guys call them different things, it was just hard for me sometimes to remember that Chef was actually Jeff haha.

So all in all, I wholeheartedly recommend this book and am dying for more. I think this is Kathryn's best work so far and she should continue to wow us with this world she has brilliantly created ❤️

This is a great series!

I ended up listening to this story after both Lola’s and Eve’s, and I’ve found that one of the best things about this series is how individual each story is. The way Baby connects with and bonds to her pack is different from how either Lola or Eve do. I’d definitely recommend giving this book a try.

over all a good listen and read

I overall loved this story. I was a little impatient with Jonah tho. dragging his feet to the very end. but it did give all the other alphas time to personally Bond with baby. I kinda wish the ending was extended more than what it was. but that's the wonderful thing about books towards the ending is the longing of wanting more.
I'm glad about the audio for it cuz I just couldn't bring myself to read it because I knew there would be too much going on to keep up with all the different alphas/ mates and baby and her alpha. but it was well done over all

Best narrator in a long time!

I really like Kathryn's omegaverse world. The centers are there to actually help not just to make money. I did hate the name Baby but I liked that she had a backbone and knew what she wanted. The best part was the female narrator (sorry not good with names). She put so much emotion into the scenes you could almost feel it. I liked the male narrator too. He has done many of my favorites.

Everything they said it would be!

I had seen this book come up over and over in my RH book groups, and just never pick it up. What was I thinking! Great storyline, steamy scenes and love the characters. Thank you Kathryn Moon!

Great sweetverse book with solid world building

This was an excellent sweetverse book. There was great character development and world building, descriptive sex scenes, and solid relationship building for each of the reverse harem men. All done without being over the top with drama so it's low angst and HEA ending. narration was awesome, worth the listen!

Great Omegaverse Intro

This book has been in my TBR since it released and has been heavily recommended for years. On top of that - it has my two favorite narrators reading this book. To sum it up - this was a great standalone novel and 100% worth the hype. It was made even better with the amazing narration. There was only one reason I knocked off a star - and it’s 100% personal.

The first half of the book the author used a nice variety of terms to describe body parts during intimate scenes. Then the second half …she just defaulted to her favorite term for a part and NEVER STOPPED. The first half had variety and therefore made that annoying term tolerable. But by the second half… the author just forgot or didn’t care or something … this isn’t a Harlequin novel. This is a RH novel. Use BIG GIRL words PLEASE. If you are old enough to write it, you can use adult terminology to describe body parts. Gah. It’s seriously one of my biggest pet peeves on planet earth. And it upset me enough to knock off a star. And I’m bummed because besides that it was truly a five star read.

I really want to read Lola’s series but I’m truly afraid - I don’t want to hear that dumb word l over and over again during intimate scenes. Not even my favorite narrators could fix it.
