About this listen

Amidst the snow and icy wasteland, Earth has become a watery grave to many. Zargonnii warriors Finn and Blu search for any remaining human females. Luck abounds and six females are found struggling to survive. The moment his blazing red eyes settle onto Bethany Finn feels in his heart she is the one he wants to end his loneliness.

When Bethany encounters two massive aliens, eyes alight, long white hair wildly flying, she knows the pair are either death or salvation. Their encounter leads Bethany on the wildest adventure of her life. After the Zargonnii ship is annihilated by the enemy a shuttle leads Finn and Bethany straight into the path of peril more times than the couple care to count.

I found this book by accident and I'm so glad I did. It's s great sci-fi adventure. You travel from earth to space and then to several different worlds, all while learning about the different charterers. This book is 3rd and the series and even though I haven't read the the others I don't feel like I'm missing any part of the story.
Narrator was good and brought the story alive.

Great find!!

Was my favorite pairing out of all the books. However, the storys plot/universe got a bit overly complicated at times and the explanation for things didn't always make sense.

good book but a tad all the time

I find the series entertaining. It's an interesting twist on a common theme, the Earth is destroyed and the people have left to go to distant planets. I read the books originally and when I saw they were out in audiobook I grabbed them of Audible also.

The books in the series are short, but are cheaper than a credit so I don't mind just buying them.

Only downside to the Unearthly World audiobooks I have found is the narrator. Cassandra Livingston leaves a lot to be desired mostly in the fact that there is almost no differentiation between character voices. And if it wasn't for the change in the pace of the words and the "he said " and "she said " parts, it would be hard to tell she had gone from the narrative part to a spoken line.

If you haven't already, check out the related "New World " series. Much better narrator.

Good series

This book is the 3rd in the Unearthly World series and is before the Guardian in the New World series. Finn meets Bethany in a frozen area of Earth. I'm thinking she must have Eskimo heritage in her knowledge of living off the land in the cold. Six women are rescued from Earth in Bethany's group and after a few days after they are rescued they are attacked by rogue Tonan and Gorganon in space. Bethany and Finn end up traveling to a few more worlds and meet a few more species and of course made an enemy worse than the Gorganon.

While on one planet they met what are considered slavers who end up becoming grateful to Bethany and become allies with the Zargonnii. Some inferences can be made at the end of this book that I can't wait until the next novel in this series to see where it goes.

This was a great read. Although I liked the last book Zuri's story much better. The phrases used and world building was fantastic. You see some interesting concepts to think about such as string theory. Cassandra did a great job narrating it too.

great fun read

I had a hard time finished this one. I liked first and second book better. I won’t miss it if there is no more in the series.

It’s not that great

I liked the earlier books better. This one started off great - loved the scenes where they are froliking with the polar bear who thinks it's battling. That was great humour, but then trip home after the crash started to get really drawn out and lost my interest. Too many weird new worlds added in a short timespan that left my head spinning.

Series Started Good but Went Down Hill
