About this listen

Chloe Knaggs is a bit of a nerd, a bit of a klutz, and all Blunder Woman, especially when it comes to love. Take the love of her life, Matt M. - or as she calls him - Mmm. He's her consummate unboyfriend, meaning, they have all the intimacy of a dating couple without any of the intimacy. Confused? So is Chloe. When Matt decides to elope with the very beautiful, svelte Amber, Chloe goes a little bit crazy and takes her hippy mom and best friend Megan right along with her.

Blunder Woman is a hilarious romp with bright characters through a series of misadventures including a derby party gone horribly wrong, a night of drinking Flaming Turtles, and a fundraising event where the biggest blunder of all occurs. Blunder Woman is funny, fresh, and above all real...in a truly awkward way.

Awesome Blunder

OMG l loved this audiobook. Tanya’s narration was superb. Chloe is a wonderfully crazy woman. I laughed out loud more times than I can remember. Her shenanigans were so fun; I wish I was half as interesting!

Nice orginal story

This is an original story that stays away from most of the cliches. The main character is socially clumsy but adorable. She is surrounded by a great set of family and friends. The main character spends a lot of time trying to make it work with this unobtainable guy but the story is really about her not the relationship. It is about her growth dealing with a relationship with an unobtainable guy.

Stick with it.

This a good book. I almost stopped listening because I was annoyed with the main character, but I made it to the end of the book and I enjoyed it. I know a couple of people who should read this. It’s not laugh out loud funny but it has a lot of humor. Try it.

Charming and fun

A sweet and often wacky story of a woman focusing her powerful love on a man who might not deserve her. With flights of utter silliness, this one is a lot of fun (not for children kind of fun). Ms. Eby is a great narrator with a clear, smooth voice and wonderful comic timing.

Light, fluffy feel good chaos

The narration was excellent. I loved the bumbling imperfect herione and her gang of oddballs.

a definite must listen... if you like to LOL

This is a definite must listen... if you like to LOL that is. Fun, light, full of humorous and some embarrassing moments. I am still chuckling at the startled look on the guy from the other side of the pump at the gas station where I burst put laughing listening to this story, with my earbuds of course :D
I am glad Chloe realized that MMMat was a player, even though it took her long enough. She has great close circle of friends, including her Mom who is in a class by herself, quirky and fun, and collects more on the way. Loved the ending.
Love Ms. Eby's voice and was quite entertained by her many voices in the story.

Love Tanya, but not this story

In my opinion, this is not a romantic comedy but just a comedy. I love Tanya as a narrator and her series with Sarina Bowen is the bomb! I just did not like this story. I wanted Chloe to get her head out of her ass and stop being stupid! Seriously! I wanted her to read or watch "He's just not that into you."
The ending was better, but this story was not for me.

Will make you giggle, snort and guffaw

This book is not my usual fare; however I truly enjoyed this hilarious story starring the dysfunctional Chloe AKA Blunder Woman. This book is humorous first then a bit of romantic comedy, Chloe has fallen head over heels for MMM-Matt , as she calls him, but she is getting very mixed signals from him but some of those signals give her hope that he feels the same way. However as the reader of the book you know she is barking up the wrong tree and there will be times you just want to shake her and say he’s just not into you, wake up! When Chloe finds out Matt is engaged to the gorgeous Amber, she follows them to Mackinaw Island with her best friend and mother in tow to show Matt that it is really her he loves. This is when true hilarity ensues!

The other characters in the book include Chloe’s best friend Megan and Chloe’s mother who is a great character all on her own, from her Reiki to tarot readings she is hippy dippy and hilarious. There is a whole cast of interesting fully fleshed out characters each one with their own quirks and personalities.

I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Tanya Eby on my blog but had never had the pleasure of hearing her narrations so I decided to do one better and listen to a book she wrote and narrated, I was not disappointed the story is great and the narration was fabulous you always knew exactly who was talking and everyone had their own voice. I look forward to listening to more by Tanya.

I didn’t realize this book was set in Michigan when I chose it for one of my vacation listens and I was vacationing in Michigan, so it was fun knowing all the places they went.

If you are looking for a light listen/read that will make you giggle, snort and guffaw this is the book for you! Be warned listening to this book in public will get you funny looks because you can’t help but laugh out loud at some of the great lines and situations. I would definitely read another book by Tanya and would read another book with this cast of characters (hint, hint).

Funny!

Laughed through most of this, even felt embarrassed for her a few times, probably because some of her blunders hit too close to home; definitely recommend it as a fun read. I really like that the ending wasn't the typical, happily ever after, conclusion. Enjoyable read; I would like to find several more like this.
