Perspective is always challenging to see from another person's angle. This book challenges it's reader to dig deeper and embrace what may appear as immoral to be just from another person's perspective. With that being said, this author DOES NOT play mind games with their readers. The book is a page- turner. I wasn't ready for the book to be done when the last page was turned. Lucus it's a viral alpha male with American values. He proved to be protective over Yulea(the heroine) who was manipulate by her homeland. Yulea was blindly loyal to her homeland; through the three books she is forced to reevaluate he commitment. I loved the 4- book series. Luckily this series is followed by the 4 book series about characters introduce within these books.

The beautiful spy and the mercenary. A bit of a twisted obsessive love story but Julia and Lucas find it in each other despite the volatile circumstances. Love in dangerous circumstances.

This was such an amazing story to listen to. I love the mc's Lucas & Julia and their unique story of love. I particularly love the complexity of Lucas and his obsession with Julia. Let me just say Lucas can hold me captive anytime.😉 Lucas is the perfect example of "love is action" not just words. He convinced me with his actions that Julia was more than an obsession. She was his everything.

Anna Zaires is truly an amazing arthur for creating such a well written story. Your narrators deserve a standing ovation for such great work bring mc's and supporting characters to life! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I look forward to finding more of Anna's work. So well worth it and completely enjoyably with not just hot steamy emotional edge of your seat love/sex, but action and suspense too.😎

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this audiobook to a friend, to an enemy or just to a stranger on the street. I love Anna Zaires and her freaking mind. She has such great books. I still the the Krinar trilogy is the best but man I just love her books.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I think Lucas won my heart in this book but I did like Michael as well towards the end. I don't know don't make me choose they all were my favorite.

What does Roberto Scarlato and Shirl Rae bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Listen Roberto has one nice voice to me. I mean he just makes Lucas sound so sexy even when he was being a jerk. Shiri did well as usual. I just loved the narration. It made the book real.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed the snippet at the end. So Anna you can make another book about thses 4 and maybe just maybe they can end up being friends. I won't mind hearing Rosa's story. Let her end up with a mafia guy. I don't know but just write more!!
