This book doesn't have as much action as the previous book but it is still good. Book 2 deals a lot with rape victim's trauma. The MFC goes into a rehab facility for help with her problems stemming from her time with Sergi. It's not a pleasant listening experience, despite the extras the author put into it, especially if the reader/listener is a victim/survivor themselves. Please keep this in mind when deciding whether to read this book or not. I do think you can skip through a lot of the activities that happen at the facility and not miss much of the story. Once again, this book ends on a cliffhanger but I think (hope) we will find out this cliffhanger was a hoax! On to book 3!

FMC is Iris, a young girl in her 20s who was sold to the Russian Mafia, the Bratva by her father because he couldn't pay him so he sold her
MMCs- Nik, son of the Bratva and grew up with Iris, he secretly loved her all her life
Twins- Roman and Rowan, they are in the Shadow group, they are the muscle and they are in love with Iris too
Hunt- leader of the Shadows, also in love with Iris and married her to protect her but obviously that didn't work because she gets kidnapped by the Bratva in the end of 1st book

so they get her back in the 2nd book but she comes back damaged that she has to go to a special place for help with rape victims
yes she was raped by the Bratva, his name is Sergi and she ends up pregnant
she learns to get her life back that pleasure is not always plain, Sergi hurt her in a way that this place can only treat her mental
eventually she gets back what Sergi took from her, her life with the men she loves and their touch because before the retreat she always felt Sergi rather than her guys when they tried slight touches and even kisses
she eventually goes home tells them she is pregnant and she is keeping the baby even if it's Sergi's baby and her guys are happy and want the baby and will treat it as theirs, it's so cute they say it's their baby and are happy they get to have it with her
some stuff happens and Roman, one of the twins gets taken by Sergi and is stripped down naked and is being beaten and Sergi calls Iris to tub it in and she immediately often to switch with him but of course the others won't let her not even Roman
very sad because she is looking at Roman and her and her guys are looking at him through the phone and he says I love to Iris and I Love you Hunt because Roman and Hunt kinda have a thing then a shit gets fired and end of book 2
