The story seems a bit..,abrupt? Like I'm missing details or I should already understand this world and why things are happening? I don't know, it could just be me…. Maybe I'm tired or not paying proper attention. I will try to listen to this again sometime so I can be sure iv given it a fair chance. I think I will get book 2 either way since it seems to be a standalone story. That way I can see if its just this one title or a deeper issue I have with the writing style.

This was my first audio with these narrators. The story was good but the narrators took some getting used to it was hard for me with the female narrator. Overall I love Vi and the story was good.
