The doctor discovers why the couplings are not resulting in pregnancies. One officer is dissatisfied with her partner so the doctor helped her out. There are more problems aboard the ship. Anastasia Lynne narrates well.

   I really dislike the protagonist in this story, which is told from the first-person perspective of the doctor on the colony spaceship.  He is having sex with two women without even asking the first woman if she wanted to be monogamous.  At the end of the short story, each woman still has no clue that the doctor is being intimate with two women. 

   This story has a doctor accepting a woman’s invitation to sex during a gynecology exam.  Some readers might like this idea, but it seems unpleasant to me.  In addition, the story has male chauvinist vibes.  The only interesting part was when the doctor and his agronomist girlfriend solve a fertility problem among the passengers.

   The narrator was not quite low-pitched enough to make the doctor convincingly sound like a man.  Otherwise, she was great at the women’s voices and everything else.

   I requested and received a free audiobook copy from the narrator, and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.
