About this listen

Prepare for Term 3 of Fate Hollow Academy, where the first battle of the war between supernaturals and humans was fought.

Tensions and unrest rose in Kalista like never before. The supernaturals and the Supernatural Council must band together to fight both the humans and the dragons. Our long-term goal is simple: peace between the supernaturals, though we wouldn’t mind the humans being completely wiped out in the process.

The humans were quiet after the battle on the campus, but the dragons started to show their true colors. They planned to kill those who didn’t stand with them and support a dragon-only utopia in Kalista.

We must face all of our enemies head-on to tip the balance of this war in our favor. To fight alongside my mates and the other supernaturals, I needed to pull on the strength my mates were determined I possess before it was too late.

Fate Hollow Academy: Term 3 is book three in the Fate Hollow Academy Series. It is a paranormal why-choose romance with all characters over the age of twenty-one. It contains mature subject matter that may not be suitable for all listeners, including strong language, violence, torture, trauma, and explicit sexual content.

One of the best series ever!!!

I love all of the MCs, but Wren and Damien are my favorites. Wren is so sweet and pure and Damien is so possessive and psychotic in the best way. My favorite part was when Damien and his family visited the village. I wish there was no cliff but it just means more to read. The characters were all realistic and I can’t wait for the next book.

3.5 maybe?

I really enjoyed book 1, book 2 was not very good and Wren was super weak, dumb and annoying. I continued to this one because I was invested at this point and wanted to see what happened next. This book was slightly better but not by much. She was still so whiney and annoying. I felt like it was less of a reverse harem romance and more of a p*rn. Don't get me wrong I love some good sexy scenes, but this was excessive. It continuously lost the storyline and just became one s*x scene after another. I get that with so many men in the Harem the author probably wanted to try give each one time with the FMC, but that's not really what happened anyway. I feel like Kian, Lachlan, and Thorn still hardly even were around or discussed. They hardly had time with Wren and she didn't seem to care one way or the other. I think the storyline would have been really good if we got more of it, and less romps in the sheets between Wren and her few guys she constantly got down and dirty with. I do appreciate that each male character was totally into Wren and there was no MM stuff going on. For some reason, so many authors seem to feel if there is a reverse harem that there has to be MM action and it was nice not to have any of that. The guys characters were good and easy to like, although I wish there had been more time with some of them.

Honestly, I normally really like these narrator's, but the girls narration was so whiney through this entire book I almost couldn't even continue listening. It was terrible.

Bridget really makes it so cry baby.

I hvae over 400 audio books. I used to love Bridget, and still love Jake. But B just makes the FMC sound sooooo whiny and pathetic. It was fine before I really got into audio books. But now I will no longer spend a credit on HER. she sounds like she's crying ALL the time.

3 Stars

The storyline is great overall, especially in books 1&2; but book 3 seemed to be more about sex than anything else. I think at one point it was 3 or 4 scenes in a row that were just sex. I love shmexy times, but this was just too much.

Come on!

How many books can someone write with the same objective? According to this series, at least three. This author has had these characters fighting the same dang battle through 3 terms now. Switch it up! Defeat an enemy, get a new storyline/battle going in the next book. This has been so monotonous.

I also can’t stand these narrators. Both of them use the dumbest voices. Bridget always sounds whiny and way overdramatic no matter the book or character, and Jake sounds like some teenager reading a toddler storybook with the stupid voices you use for the characters. Dude, just talk. And the familiar’s voice? Ugh.

I would DNF but I’m so close to being finished with the series (plus I already bought all 4) that I just have to find out what happens. I’ll deal with the narrators for a bit longer.
