About this listen

Forget taming their cougar. They want her as is, even if she scratches.

Someone's killing shifters in prison, and Patricia needs help catching the culprit. The cougar enlists the help of Stu and Ricky, a techno geek and a reformed criminal, a mismatched pair who turn out to also be her mates. But Patricia's already loved and lost one man. Does she dare allow herself to care again?

Older isn't just wiser; it's sexier, or at least that's what a socially challenged wolf and a bad boy panther think. Forced to work together to catch a killer, Stu and Ricky soon find out they'll have to learn to do more than tolerate each other when they realize a hot, almost-40 cougar is their mate. Can they find a way to work together and make their cougar purr?

Please note: This story features a 40-year-old heroine who gets involved with two males who are slightly younger than her (10 years and less). The intimate moments range from MF to MFM.

FINALLY younger men with slight older woman story!

This the latest installment in the "Freakn" story series. Two young men (one in twenties & one in his thirties) falls for a older woman (37ish) which is NOT really older. (40's would have been hotter) They work together to find out who is killing shifters in prison. This is another interesting addition to the "Freakin" series. I gave it 5 stars for trying to appease the majority of the female age group that support buying stories via kindle & audible. Being an OLDER female of color I really feel that this story & all the "Freakn' stories are very entertaining & are worth the credit & money to buy.

Finally a true erotic ménage from Ms Langlais

She’s always written a very good romantic story it was just lacking in the sexual eroticism between three, between two it was great. I’m not fond of the big age difference but it’s best if the guys are younger. Interesting storyline & great narration by Ms Hooper.

Love this series

I do truly love this series. Its not "vanilla" love scenes. However, it is still written very tastefully.

Another Interesting Book In The Series

I have to think that EL has a most outrageous imagination to be able to continuously think of the many varied situations. While I found this plot to be very creative I found the actual story to be lacking true development. The story relies too much upon the belief system that the reader has read the previous books in the series and did not adequately develop the characters for this story. Even with my having read the previous books in the series I was disappointed with the character being described more as the opposite of his siblings than with independent characteristics. Sadly, the character from the previous books was more developed than the other characters in this book. I ended up giving the story 3 stars because in spite of the problems I just noted I had several laugh out loud moments of joy during its reading.

Boring storyline and unrepeatable characters

I tried really hard to get into this story but the plot centered too much around the murder mystery and not enough around the romance. The characters barely associated with each other and had no chemistry. Even with a lot of skimming it was still difficult to stay interested. Finally gave up and relegated it to my DNF pile.
