I love these threes stories. I hope the girls get stories and the world continues.

9 orphans

why only 3 books if there are 9 orphans? I'm disappointed the series seems to be over I'd love to hear the rest of the family's love stories plus the packs stories too.

Family isn't always blood related

I didn't expect to really like this series, but it surprised me. I really enjoyed it. What about the rest of them?

Entertaining

Short and to the point. Very much so enjoyed this short read! Loved the voice of the reader and the characters. The author gave a lot in so little time. Great work! Lastly, I do so love reading boxed series that are completed! 🥰

So, you think you might be a shifter?

Book 1: Dominick ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Her: “I swear we’re not planning to dismember and freeze you for food
… or turn you into a brood mare to form a hillbilly army.”
Annika: “isn’t that exactly what a murdering hillbilly daughter would say?”
Hahahah, that was purrfect catnip for my shifter romance loving soul. If you want broody wolf-pack shifters with “me Tarzan” alphas and submissive, scrawny girls who quake in their Pradas … yeah, this is not the series for you.

“Language!”
This first book is a frisky romp about a panther shifter, who doesn’t know he’s a shifter, and the bootylicious babe from his past that his inner cat can’t help but lose its kibbles-N-bits over. It’s just long enough to provide a smuttylicious sex scene and connect the story with the larger arc of failed experiments rescued and raised as orphans in the bestest Mother Hubbard-style found-family.

Book 2: Stefan ⭐️⭐️⭐️
“Maybe that explains my urge to mark my condo”
After a zippy, zany book 1, I was hoping for more hilarity as Stefan and his adopted family realize there’s a whole world of shifters out there. Sadly, even with his family tangling with the local lycan pack, it was mostly blah, blah talking about why and how they’d co-exist.

“Not until you put a ring on it”
Meanwhile, there’s barely any time spent on character development or backstory. Nimway is sister to the Lycan alpha. Stefan’s been harboring survivor’s guilt since escaping the evil scientists. Oh, and he’s been struggling to figure out the shifter thing on his own for a while. That’s about it … and I needed more to invest in this couple.

“She was that freshly frosted cake that begged a finger to take a swipe.”
The devotion to baked goods aside, this author’s formula writing style was just okay here.
The nooky was disappointing, especially when her favorite reference to “nether lips” was dropped.

Book 3: Raymond ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“Everyone knew secret labs were found in basements.”
The series arc comes to a close, along with an HEA for geeky shut-in, and were-Lynx, Raymond.
I suppose I could fault a series that keeps the old vampires versus weres thing alive, but this is less about meaty urban fantasy and more about campy adventure.

“Is this some kind of Pretty Woman thing?”
The enemies to lovers relationship between Raymond and Lainey gives good chemistry. Even if the series arc about experimentation and imprisonment is more prevalent, it’s kept on the vague end, keeping the overall tone light.

“I’m gonna call him Floofkin Two”
This one’s got an overdose of cuteness, but it still worked for me. The 3 for 1 credit value makes this collection a definite yes. It has the right balance of story to shifter-nooky and puts this on par with my other favorite series for this author: Kodiak Point.

Great Series

These stories were entertaining and engaging. The characters development was varied and although you knew the character would evolve, the process for each one’s was unique in some way.

It's not her usual great story

No way a 37 year old didn't know he was a shifter, and why does he act like such a dumbarse?
