I loved this! The writing and depth put into it was breath taking! Also it was quite hot. And if you’ve read any other series m, you’d scream like I did when I saw the connected universe details!

The story didn't quite match what I expected, based on the blurb. The story had some interesting ideas and plenty of steamy scenes. The narration was good, and the resolution was decent. I think I just really wanted a more personal backstory for both main characters. Worth the read to get a chance to see characters connected to other series.

I really loved this book! The narration was purrrrfect. The relationship that the MC’s had was beautiful and loving. It was just overall a great story. Low angst which is always a plus for me.

Oh boy! This was a refreshing one. I loved it. The simple fact that all he needed was someone who would care for him made all of his worries go away. Someone who built a 100 foot wall around him had it broken down within a matter of days. Ugh this had me sooo happy.

The two actors were excellent in their portrayal of the two different characters, making the story much more realistic. at times, The plot lines were somewhat buried and seemed to change abruptly. How every by the end of the story, it wrapped up in a pretty neat package. definitely a good read.

I deliberated over listening to (or reading) this book for... Years! Mainly because I tend to dislike BDSM related stories and avoid them for the most part. However, it's a... well... This is Daryl Banner were talking about here. This is one author who NEVER disappoints! Honestly, once I started this, I could not stop. And then (*swoon*) there's Lucky! And there's Alex Kydd! It was my first time listening to this narrator, and I'm hooked on that beautiful, gravelly voice. (I'll definitely be looking out for more of his performances). The story itself is beautifully told. I loved that we get to see a glimpse of Lucky's life on the street. I loved that Lucky didn't do the whole woe is me/I'm too proud to accept help spiel. I loved that he was such an honourable soul at his core. I just loved everything about this book. Oh, and, by the way, there's no actual BDSM in this book! So, to sum up... Excellent book. Brilliant narration all round. Well worth the listen.

This was different than any romance that I typically go for. I went in thinking it would be like the other kinky books that rev my engine. I liked the age difference and the power dynamic they had. The characters were interesting and flawed which I love. I thought I’d get more kink especially considering how the prologue started. I was also very disappointed at the ending. Normally my heart feels full at the end of a romance but I feel dejected with this one. I don’t know. I think I need to find an HEA to make me feel better
