Publisher's summary

Take one pregnant omega who’s all alone in the world...

After accidentally getting pregnant by his best friend and occasional hookup buddy, Owen Grant finds himself on his own...again. After being abandoned at birth and growing up in the foster system, he’s used to having to say good-bye. If he's learned one lesson in life, it's this: People don't stay.

Add in one alpha who just won’t leave...

Austin Logan is a quirky alpha who’s accepted that he’ll never marry and have a family of his own. His focus is on being the favorite uncle to all of his brothers' kids. He’s happy with the well-maintained and structured routine of his life and doesn’t need anything more.

Mix in one fake marriage of convenience...

Meeting Owen shakes things up in Austin’s world. He has to beg and barter with the guy to convince him to accept his help, even going so far as to sign a prenup that absolves Owen of any rights to Austin’s wealth, just to get him to agree to a fake marriage that will provide him with the medical insurance he so desperately needs for himself and his unborn child.

And remember not to fall in love with your fake groom!

What happens when your fake husband turns out to be an awesome dad to your child and doesn’t seem in any hurry to let you go? And what if you slowly find yourself falling for the stranger you married? You sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.

This is the final book in the Lone Star Brothers series. This MM book contains mpreg and is intended for listeners 18 years and older. This 60,000-word novel is a slow-burn strangers-to-friends-to-lovers romance with all the feels you’re used to from Susi Hawke. It definitely includes an HEA and all the laughs, naughty-knotty times, and family fun you’d expect!

Austin might just be my favorite brother!

This is an amazing book and I adored every bit of it. Austin meets Owen when Owen felt like there was nowhere else he could go for help. As these two build a friendship that leads to love, I loved how they took their time. Getting to see into Austin's head, you will learn why he is like he is. Owen is fantastic, humorous, loving, and faces things as they come. You will tear up and laugh throughout the entire thing. But my favorite line has to be "think about the children". I cracked up!

The narrator is simply amazing and brings everyone their own unique voices.

Loved it! Will be a re-listen!!

John Solo, the narrator, did an awesome job of bringing Austin and Owen to life for me. This is my favorite of this series and that is saying a lot, cause i really enjoyed the first three books. There was something about these MC's and the story that just found a home in my heart.

I loved this book!! i laughed, i cried and i celebrated the romance between these awesome men. I so love the whole Logan family! I cracked up at the interactions between the family members and found their love for each other to be heartwarming. The story-line flowed and i found myself reading with pleasure.

Owen and Austin have an incredible chemistry and i love how accepting they are of each other.. just makes them fit together perfectly. There are so many special moments that will live with you for a long time. Read and enjoy!

This story is the fourth book in the Lone Star Brothers series and it can be read as a stand-alone... however, i recommend reading the entire series because it is so good.

Loved it! Will be a re-listen!!

A wonderful ending to a great series

An enjoyable story, Susi Hawke has ended the Lone Star Brothers series in an enjoyable and fitting way. We get to meet Connor, who is down on his luck (and pregnant), trying to figure out how to stand on his own two feet and Austin, my personal favorite brother, full of quirks that quickly get tossed out the window then these two worlds collide.

I found the story pleasant, heart-wrenching at times, and hysterical at times. John Solo's performance was a wonderful blend of sass, comedic timing, and lots of heart, bringing these characters alive. A truly enjoyable audio.

Romantic and Sweet, John Solo is Wonderful

YAY Austin found love :) <3 I'm so happy it happened the way it did.

Home in Austin is far and away the most romantic of the four novels and trust me, the wait was worth it! This has been an absolutely wonderful series and a great introduction for me to the creative and heartfelt writing of Susi Hawke.

Austin and Owen are great together and I don't think anything short of what happened would have finally coaxed Austin into a relationship. It is so cute to watch his walls coming down, and when Owen discovers all his OCD organization, it is laugh-out-loud funny. There are a bunch of super sweet and funny moments in Home in Austin and, aside from the absolutely horrid descriptions of how they discover baby J has a milk allergy *gag*, this one had me smiling from beginning to end.

Again, I'm going to stress how wonderful this series is in audio. John Solo blew me away with the variety of the voices he chooses for these characters. This is an immense cast and all these guys cross back and forth within each other's stories. Mr. Solo does an incredible job and he sticks consistently to the different voices throughout all four novels.

The Lone Star Brother is a very special series and I highly recommend enjoying it in audio.

A marriage of convenience that turns in to more

I really love how Austin does what he can for Owen, including a marriage of convenience, in order to help provide a healthier start for Owen's baby boy. I also love how Austin is not jealous of baby Jay's deceased father or his family and encourages the connection. Austin really is an amazing guy and we only caught a glimpse of that in the past three books.

John Solo is one of my favorite narrators and he doesn't disappoint with any of these Lone Star Brothers stories.

OUTSTANDING SERIES, AMAZING WRITER!

I am a big fan of Susi Hawke, and have listened to many of her books. She's a beast with her writing, imagination, and creating her characters. This complete series was outstanding. The love, loyalty, respect, trust, banter, this family had for one another was amazing. I loved each brother and their stories. I cant choose which one I love more..lol John Solo, what can I say than superb. He is one of the best voice actors and narrators out here. He always does a wonderful job bringing the characters to life. I didn't want the series to end. Hopefully some way Susi Hawke can continue it.🤞 Maybe like a where are they now and doing, following them and children or maybe a storyline with each kid with all there parents involved.🤔 I highly recommend this complete series!🙂

Fantastic combination between story and narration!

5 Stars!

Home in Austin is book 4 in the Lone Star Brothers series. It can be listened to as a standalone, which is what I did, but fair warning, you'll probably want to learn more about Austin's brothers as soon as you're done with this one.

This book was a delight to listen to, not only did John Solo did a fantastic job with all the characters voices, and boy, if there weren't a lot of those, LOL, but he gave them all very discernable tones that gave a very clear idea of their personalities and complimented the storyline nicely.

This was a very entertaining and sweet slow-burn romance, the main characters, Austin and Owen were totally adorbs and I had so much fun with some of the predicaments they (mostly Austin) found themselves in while taking care of their baby. Definitely an audiobook you don't want to miss out on!

Home in Austin

4.5 Stars

I know I’m becoming a bit predictable when I say this is my new favorite book from Susi. Lol. Especially since Almost every one of Susi’s books is my new favorite when I get around to reading and/or listening to it. But. This one was just really cute and I enjoyed listening to the audio version of this book.

I liked how Austin and Owen had such an easy friendship right from the start and it wasn’t just insta-love and that their friendship grew to more over time. Owen had to deal with the loss of his friend and being pregnant and stressed and not knowing where to turn and what to do next and Austin was right there helping guide him through all that. I’m glad that Owen found a family that has his back and he fit right into. I just loved these characters and their story.

John did great narrating every book in this series and I’m really sad it’s come to an end. But I look forward to whatever he’s got coming out next. He’s always a solid insta-buy Narrator for me.
