The apocalypse has happened, the zombies were about to take over but a group of men out to protect and get rid of the zombies is formed. Once the zombie''s is removed, the power of the group takes over. Now the remaining human kind must survive in other groups. Marley and her friend want to dress up for their friends wedding. But, something happens, Marley and her friend are separated and are about to be offered to the head of this group. But, Axe who are apart of this guards knows she is his. but, now he overstepped and now the head ruler is gone but who will be in charge? But, they must leave in order to keep their safety. Hm. this is an insta love story that is crazy to believe that could be true. but the story is still entertaining. I had the opportunity to get an ARC audio copy of this book and it was awesome with a hero and heroine narrating. Zombies have come and have taken over. The Ravagers are formed to kill the zombies. Once the zombies have been destroyed the Ravagers get out of control. They are barbaric men that raid, steal, kidnap the women and just are good people. Marley has been on the run for years getting away from the zombies and she finds refuge. Marley had her friend have been kidnapped by the Ravagers and are now slaves to the leader Boris. Max is a Ravagers and he has taken a liking to Marley and has vowed to protect and keep her safe. He kills several of the Ravagers and he Marley and her friend take off. Max has a cabin and takes the ladies there. Max and Marley pledge their love for one another and have a hot passionate night and morning. The Ravagers have gotten word that Max has killed several in the group and they come after him in the cabin. Max is my kind of alpha sexy male. There are over 30 of the Ravagers and Max is not afraid he has equipped Marley with a crossbody and he prepares for battle.

Will Max win over the Ravagers, will he and Marley have a life together?

First I have not found one book by Olivia I have not loved, and this one is no exception. Heather and Noel did amazing as narrators. I read this book and was so excited to see it on Audible and they did it justice. This is a fast burn, amazing book.

I really loved the dual narration. The voices were great and their recreation of this book was awesome. Would love to hear more audiobooks like that👍👍 If you love Olivia T. Turner books you will love this audiobook.

I personally love dystopian stories and mixed with romance....I'm in 😍😍😍 This is the story of Max and Marley.... they meet while Marley was kidnapped and he saves her and her friend from the Ravagers. Insta love, sweet, romantic and totally safe (Both virgins.... their one and only❤❤) with a great world building and a great HEA😍😍😍😍 I really hope we get more stories of this kind in the future👍👍👍A whole lot of fights, swords and action 😉😉😉So so good 👍

A good Story. It was nice enough to have a part 2. it was a little hot 🔥 MMC and MFC were a hoot! He was fear and brutal w/o remorse. glad that the MFC wasn't silly and dipcy. Nice short listen.

Noel, who read Max’s chapters, had the perfect gravel-laced sexy voice, & Heather (Marley) somehow pulled off both badass and virginal.

I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable even though it touches on the end of the world (as we know it) and there was some violence. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Cassandra was different. She was so hopeful and sweet but also persistent. Marley as the older "sister" would have been the one expected to be the most persistent and bossy but Cassandra put her to shame. Marley was good at keeping a level head or at least she tried to. Max was a guard for Boris the Butcher (a super bad guy!) but that didn't keep him from protecting Marley once he recognized her as his. Marley was drawn to Max and found him attractive which wasn't something she was used to feeling. Max and Marley's relationship exploded from nothing to something. There was plenty of steam between them. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

The audiobook was wonderful to listen to as well. The narrators did a great job of bringing the story and the characters to life. The narrator for the Max blew me away. If you have the chance, I recommend that you listen to this audiobook.

As the title implies this is certainly an entertaining listen. Daring to tackle an apocalyptic romance in a short listen, but Turner pulls it off. Story moves at the quick pace and the world and characters are interesting. Narrators have great voices and are okay with opposite gender voices. If you are in the mood for a something a little different in an erotic romance this is a great choice.
