About this listen

~USA TODAY BESTSELLER~

Abducted at eighteen. Held captive for 15 months.

It reads like one of those headlines. And yes, I did it. I stole her. Nora, with her long dark hair and silky skin. She’s my weakness, my obsession.

I’m not a good man. I never pretended to be one. She can love me, but she can’t change me.

I can, however, change her.

My name is Julian Esguerra, and Nora is mine to keep.

***Keep Me is the sequel to Twist Me, told from Nora & Julian’s POV.***

This is a must read.

I was left in aww after this one. I laughed, cried, got angry, and I even had to let my husband hear some of it so he knew what I was going through. Lol. Needless to say I may listen again.

Great Finish

What made the experience of listening to Keep Me the most enjoyable?

to read Julian's feelings and see how possessive he was and how he thought.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Both Julian and Nora. Julian is a total psychopath made to be desired, and Nora is the innocent that gets trapped in this psychopaths world.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

definitely. couldn't cause of work and sleep though. hehe

Any additional comments?

this couples story has finally come to an end. Julian was able to turn Nora into a killer and like it (but be a little ashamed of it). all his over possessive and overbearing ways have changed her to his liking. i don't think she'll ever be able to go home cause she's so brainwashed to his ideas.
he has her liking bdsm, killing (occasionally), living in a dangerous society. and she pines for him now whenever he's gone too long from her. Julian definitely got what he wanted. it's like he got everything he wanted and everybody else had to suffer. her parents, friends, and even her. she was forced to accept it. i feel sorry for Nora. the only great thing she gets is super sex ;D
i did enjoy this duo. glad to read Julian's thought for a change. getting inside his sadistic head was interesting. Ms. Zaires even went far enough to depict some torture scenes too. i could've passed through that part though. hehe. i'll definitely read more by this author. i love her sex scenes and her story telling. glad i read this double feature.

Loved the new direction

If you could sum up Keep Me in three words, what would they be?

Hot as F#(K

What other book might you compare Keep Me to and why?

Impossible

What about Roberto Scarlato and Shirl Rae ’s performance did you like?

Very believable

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

He kidnapped her body, but she gave him her soul

Any additional comments?

Overall, great follow up to the first one.

OMG!!!

An intense follow up from the first book of this series! I can't believe how Sara had changed so much over the period of time. And now that she and Julian will be facing another phase of their lives on the third and last book, I can't wait to see how things will end up 💖🤩

Keep Me Good

I Loved Roberto's voice.
I love this series. Julian Esguerra is not a nice man he kidnapped Nora because he wanted her. I stayed up all night reading this book I just couldn't put it down and this is one book that I am looking forward to listening to it on audio. Held captive for 15 months Nora Leston an 18 girl from the Midwest fell in love with her kidnapper. After being kidnapped by a terrorist group along with Beth who was killed Nora believes that Julian was killed in an explosion. For four months Nora is lost without him and she didn't know how to start her life over until Julian returns. This book picks up where the last one "Twist Me" left off Julian shows up in the middle of the night to take his Nora. This book to me is better than the first one and I really loved the first one. In this book we get to here both of their POV and I loved that. This book we also get to hear and understand why Julian is the way he is how he grew up with a horrible father and a mother who was too afraid to stand up for him. In this book you get to see how Nora has grew into a strong person although she is still unsure if Julian loves her, which he does he just has never felt or received love before she knows that he wants and needs her and that he is never letting her go and you also see that she loves Julian for who he is a sadistic monster that bring out the masochistic in her and she loves it. This book had a few twist in it that I want give away but I loved the first one and I loved how he did it. This book had some very hot sex scenes in it I mean the book had me "throbbing". I loved that Nora was able to tell Julian what she needed and that she was able to stand up to him although it didn't do her any good I love a man that takes what he wants and doesn't apologize or feel any guilt for doing it. This book was very well written and I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series so Ms. Zaire please make it early 2015. If you love to read dark erotic non-con I highly recommend this series I will even loan it to you. I have read a few series where the second book is not as good as the first one this one is NOT one of those.

Loved it

There is a part 3, but what I loved most of all about the authors, is the books do not end with cliff hangers. it concludes yet still keep wanting the next book in the series.

I loved the ending. I am enjoying how the characters are evolving. Looking forward to book 3

Kept Me Captive

This second book in the series kept me absolutely captive. This deeply dark romance is full of intrigue and scandal, suspense and sex all shaped into an addictive story. This entire series is a must listen, especially with the high quality narration. An absolute NDULGENT READ!

Fantastic

If you could sum up Keep Me in three words, what would they be?

Raw, Real and Hot

What was one of the most memorable moments of Keep Me?

The sex scenes are hot - but Norah shooting Majid was awsome.

What about Roberto Scarlato and Shirl Rae ’s performance did you like?

They were very good - they actually added to to story - I've read the book but hey made it come to life, in a non-corny way.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Julian is a sociopath - he doesn't pretend to be anything else - he's real about it all. Norah is intelligent and acknowledges what has happened but is accepting of it. The characters have developed, they are not your "normal" couple but they are lovely to watch.

Any additional comments?

Well done - can't wait for the final book.
