About this listen

Lethal Dark Fae Assassin Hawke is a bloody liar...

I didn't run away from him.

I would've never run away from his massive arms, his beautiful, sculpted chest, that delicious heat of his brooding, grouchy presence. *swoon*

I escaped to get his attention.

To prove that can't control me, stalk me, yet pretend that the chemistry between us doesn't exist.

I broke away in a show of independence...only Hawke came after me.

No, correction: He freakin' kidnapped me because he claims that "he knows best". The hell?

He insists that it's the only way to keep me safe from the vampire-Viking alliance.

That he'll do anything to protect me. Even keep me hidden away from the world, and out of his heart and his bed, because, you know, he's too old for me? As if!

Except...he's here with me.

In this tiny house, it's just me and him, and his mouth-watering masculine scent that clings to my skin, *gulp* Oh, and he's still in denial? What the -?

What's a girl got to do when surrounded by a 100 percent virile, growly, a-phahole? (especially when he makes my panties melt with a glare?) *shiver*

I set out to tempt him, show him what he's missing...then, he reveals his secret.

Turns out, once you catch the attention of the devil, there is no going back...

**Paranormal dark fae age gap romance with a HEA. Featuring a dangerous dark fae male and a sassy woman he'll protect with his life.

Fae's Claim Series

Kidnapped by the Fae: Paranormal Dark Fae Romance (Fae's Claim Book 5) is told in dual pov of Charley and Hawke. This is the final Fae Corps book in the series and it sure ends with a succulently sweet ride.
I loved it from the beginning to the very end. Witty banter between Charley and Hawke kept me laughing. Charley is a fun and sassy character. Raw, visceral emotions between the two main characters envelop your mind. The carnal moments between Charley and Hawke are sensual. Being both have suffered in the past some psychological trauma, these two bonded together in a way that they can understand each other. We get a vivid, descriptive pictures with strong actions that incarnate the final battle and quell it out. Supporting characters bring more to the romance. The ending is the feather in one's cap.

Narators Wen Ross, and Kai Kennicott are the perfect dual to narate this steamy, scorching hot listen bringing the characters and their emotions out. Wen's deep baritone inflection perfectly portrays Hawke and Kai's sweet inflection with hints of natural sassyness fits Charley's character perfectly. Loved the naration and the story.

Fae

I liked it. I felt like it dragged though. It was a good book but it kept repeating its self. I've loved all these books but this one just didn't click like the other four. It's a great series as a whole.

I enjoyed listening to the narrators. They had great voices, dictation, and were easy to understand.
I received a free copy and I'm voluntarily leaving a review.

Blazing hot!

Laxmi has written a story that is full of action and exceptionally blazing hot love scenes. I mean tear the house down 🔥🔥! I love the characters. Hawke is older than Charley, all alpha, and carries demons that haunt him. Charley is feisty, sassy, knows she loves Hawke, has her own demons and stronger than many think she is. The banter between them is hilarious. She is determined to change Hawke's mind. She will have friends that help her along the way. He does want her, but feels he is way too old for her. Charley goal won't be easily obtained. They will also have to fight old demons with the help of their friends. I found it very hard to stop listening to this book. There were always obstacles to overcome.

Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott are extremely talented narrators. Wen created a sexy alpha voice for Hawke. No need to wear panties because they'll just melt away. Kai gave Charley a sassy yet sexy voice that also depicted her strength and determination. They also gave distinctive voices to the other characters. They did an outstanding job of portraying the emotions of all of these characters. These narrators made me feel that I was in the story with the characters. I highly recommend this Audible book. It is definitely worth a credit and is on my re-read list.

Absolute worst book heroine of all time

I don't think I have ever hated a female lead more than I hate Charlie lol she is the WORST!! I have listened to the entire series so clearly I liked them enough to keep on going, but if Charlie had been the lead of any of the earlier books it would have made me stop and request a refund. I pushed thru this one just because I wanted the conclusion of some of the other, much more likable characters. She is just the WORST!! Ahhgg lol She literally has 0 redeeming characteristics... She is whiny, pathetic, weak and when she finally get what she wants she says "wait just kidding, I don't want u, I'm to messed up, your better without me" 🙄😒🙄 I'm rolling my eyes so hard they hurt lol she is so wishy washy and immature. This is an age gap romance but Charlie makes it just so unbearable. It is just so unrealistic to think a man like Hawk would put up with Charlies whiny dumb behavior. She is the WORST!!!! Don't waste money or time with this one, I'm regretting the last 10 hrs of my life 🤣

Not What I expected

I wanted to read this book so badly and when I finally got my audible copy it wasn't what I expected. Yes, the hate-love dance of Hawke and Charlie was entertaining the first 20 chapters but after that I was just listening to finish, not because I enjoyed it. I never could bond emotionally with the characters (don't know why because I loved Dante and Gabriel's stories). Also, it didn't help that when all the male fae the narrator couldn't make a different voice for every character; which made following the speaker of each dialogue difficult.
