Publisher's summary

Leila King leads a difficult life. The turmoil she has found herself in was her own doing, but that did not make it any easier to deal with. Faced with circumstances beyond her control, Leila must find a way to appease her new love Gordon Roth, yet not lose touch with her strong, female alter-ego Goddess. At the same time, her concern for her once devoted and obedient, submissive pet Matthew becomes almost more than she can tolerate.

In attempt to distract herself from her chaotic life, Leila frequents the Red Velvet Room, where she can surround herself with like-minded people and embrace her dominatrix side screaming from within to be released. It is a welcome release and escape from the brewing situation with Matthew.

On the run and in hiding for nearly killing Gordon, Matthew’s continuous contact with Leila puts her at risk of losing it all. While Gordon has pledged himself to Leila, Matthew will always have a special place in her world, creating a plethora of obstacles for the couple. When the law finally catches up with Matthew, Leila is forced to take the stand and testify against him, something she never wanted to do.

With the ultimate questions yet to be answered, Leila’s story culminates in a frenzy of head-spinning events that test the strength and resolve of her new relationship with Gordon, and ultimately their futures together. Will his self-professed love and submissive dedication be enough to pull through? We shall see....

A great twist!

This sequel to Goddess: A Femme Domme Erotica Novel is fabulous! Written from a more realistic perspective, it tells the story of a woman trying to find balance between her chaotic reality and her fantasy world where she is an atypical Domme (not the Hollywood stereotype because yes, there are many different practice styles for Dommes too). In the end, the struggle is real and Leila is left to pick up the pieces of her life and move on with her new submissive at her side.

All factual information was actually researched in advance to avoid "inaccurate" information. And, much like in real life, everything does not necessarily wind up with hearts, flowers and puppy dogs. On a mission to fight the Domme stereotype, R.J. Castille portrays a more realistic scenario adding in the ultimate plot twist!!!

Hot yet troubled life!

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. The author has given Leila a realistic life full of power, joy, indecision, heartache, and sexual dominance. Life is going along how she likes it and then there is a bump in the road that changes everything and creates more bumps. I will say that the author keeps us guessing as to what will happen to Leila, Matthew, and Gordon. There is NOT a cliffhanger but I think that there is an unanswered question concerning baby Jr.

The narrator does a terrific job of portraying the emotions and personalities of these characters. Her voice is easy flowing and pleasant to listen to. She is a stellar storyteller. If you like BDSM books that realistically deal with real life problems, I recommend this Audible book.

Hot and Not Without Problems

Leila King faces a real problem when she has to make a decision. Matthew was her submissive pet, but he has become out of control. Gordon has pledged himself to her and it has sent her into a head-spin. What twists and turns this one will put you into. Matthew on one side of the dominatrix Leila and Gordon on the other side. Who will come out the winner? A must find out ...

Meh

Leila the second coming left more questions then solutions. I also don't like with some of the situation The author put the heroine in. It didn't make sense. The storyline was meh. Erin did a wonderful job narrating this story. She has a nice flowing voice.

Not worthwhile

Leila is a selfish narcissist and, frankly, a horrible person. She uses people to build herself up.

The narrator's voice and cadence were pleasing and flowed nicely.

I was given this book for an honest review.

Not a Leila fan at all

Leila ,(imo) is a selfish user. She gets what she wants vua sec. domination. and submission and not love or relationships. I don't feel she even knows what live is. She knows obsessesion. addiction. and possession, and she confuses it with love. I was sorry for Matt and Gordon both for the misfortune of being attracted to a narcissist! She had no honor or integrity. She is someone I could never like or even tolerate because of her poor choices and actions. I voluntarily listened to a free copy if this and am giving an honest review.
