Sizzling romantic/erotic trilogy all-in-one book.
I have a major author crush on Christine d'Abo. I fell in love with this trilogy with ease, and I attribute that to d'Abo's ability to show, not tell what her characters are feeling, and she didn't unnecessarily drag out the drama or conflict portions of each couple. I also loved that she took the time to focus on the family dynamics of the Longs and showed us upfront who they were at their core. To me, they never felt like fictional characters. Despite the individual stories being short, the events never felt rushed. D'Abo was also wickedly creative with some of the erotic scenes. I laughed, I burned and I melted. This is one of those those books I'll be revisiting often for the emotional and sexual high and the awwws. If you're looking for a scorching hot, kinky read, with a dash of heart and humor, then this is the series for you. I am absolutely going to start collecting more of Ms d'Abo's books.
My only issue is the books are recorded out of order. Below is the order they should be in, however, the recording starts Shot in the dark
Book #1 - Double Shot
Sadie Long has had a crush on Paul Williams for the past decade. They've been friends for just as long, but she won't do anything to risk that friendship. Book #3 - Pulled Long
For nearly a year, Ian Long and Blue Eyes aka Jeff Carson (a recurring customer/character since book 1) have been flirting furiously. Then Ian found out that Jeff was in the middle of a divorce with his soon to be ex-wife. Ian can't and won't allow himself to be used as an experimental rebound. But one night Ian's resolve leaves him, and he allows himself to get lost in his fantasy. When they take things public at a company function and get caught, Ian's immense guilt from his past threatens to overshadow his future.
Ian and Jeff were so good together, it's difficult to describe. I also liked getting the big picture about the Long's parents and what had happened to them. With Ian's story, Long Shots came full circle. - Book contains M/M, voyeurism, exhibitionism

I wasn't really thrilled with the idea of this book when I had read the reviews and read that the last story was man in love with a man story. I'm not into those types of stories, but I purchased it any way and I am so glad I did!
Let me say that even though the last story is man on man, it is more of a love story than anything else. Yes there is man on man sex, but it was the first one that I actually really listened to and was greatly glad that I did. While that type of thing still won't float my boat, this one was done in such a way as to be appealing even to the straight crowd!
I say give it a chance! There are three stories here, they are all connected to each other but will each stand alone. And if you don't find you like one, there are still two more excellent stories to listen to that are well worth it!

Extremely Sexy!!! Erotica at its Best!
This was HOT! and it had a good storyline to it. I mean it wasn't an in-depth storyline but it wasn't all just about the sex. This was the first time I had listened to this author and I liked this book enough to look up her other books and bye one.

great job telling 3 stories in one book
What made the experience of listening to Long Shots: Books 1-3 the most enjoyable?

Long Shots

Buying this book was a long shot for me but i was happy i purchased. The first two stories were great but the 3rd story is a little to much man on man for me. Over all the book is Hot and Sexy and enjoyable. :)

Hot and Steamy!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I so recommed this book though, I would suggest that this is not for timid readers. This book is detailed and beyond steamy. The relationship between the men and the couples is very erotic.
Which scene was your favorite?
The Dom/Sub story of Carter and Paige is my favorite...but the love scene between Sadie and Paul with Josh is most certainly a close second.

3/5 rating: An okay listen, but the negative points felt significant.
I recommend this book for... readers who enjoy novellas; and books that focus on the romance (not too worried about a plot outside the romance)
On the plus side... the sexy times are hot, hot, hot. The narration is good.
On the negative side... I agree with other reviewers- the plots are a bit thin.

YOU'LL NEED OVEN MITS TO HANDLE THESE HHHHOT TALES
I didn't realise this would be quite so hot - and I just don't know what qualifies for Erotica if this doesn't??
3 stories (2 sisters and 1 brother) all work near Mavericks Sex Club and their fantasies all include the person their hot for and the Club. Weak on the 'romance' side of the stories - they all seem to be just an excuse to include lots and lots of bdsm which gets boring if there's nothing else much with it.
Worth a credit? No, I'd rather have Lora Leigh's books any day.

Wow, I've listened to many erotic novels by now but this one took my breath away. The sex scenes were fantastic. Do not listen while driving you will be totally distracted!
