Easier said than done - that is until he meets his new neighbor, Bryce Tanner.

Neither man has ever wanted another guy, but there's a connection between Nick and Bryce from the start - a spark they can't deny. They find themselves navigating an unfamiliar new world and dealing with unforeseen obstacles. Physical desire isn't enough, and now Nick and Bryce are at a crossroads. They have to decide which way to go: the easy path they've always followed or the one that's determined to trip them up at every turn.

Much more than sex

This story reminded me of what it means to love my spouse. It took me back through the rough beginning years of our relationship, all the ebbs and flow, just like the roller coaster Nick and Brice road. For all those that want to read about sex, it had that too, but it's much more than an erotica book. It touched on true life events of a gay couple making their way through those awkward, yet necessary moments with their families. It made me laugh, cry, and feel good, and yes it made me hot at times. This as they say was a good read ( or listen in this case ).

So Good

This book was so good not because the love story is deep, which it is nor because it's so steamy you'll have to keep a fan blowing to ensure neither you nor your device overheats but because the voice is authentic.

This is no cookie cutter wham bam everything is hearts and rainbows. There is moments of true pain of sacrifices made for the one you love. There is strength and beauty gained from staying the course and believing that in the end what was meant to be will be.

It is a story filled with the realness of what it takes to make any relationship work and it is so beautifully told that by the end you'll be misty and have all the feels.

I have long loved Riley's work and this is proof of why.

GFY love

This is a comfort listen with a GFY storyline for both MCs. A little short to really dealing with the family drama due to the relationship, even if it does play a significant role. It could have been expanded upon but its not lacking. It is just that as a fan of drama as a part of the making of a GFY relationship i Think that the story lacks a little angst. The to MCs are very Secure about their love for each other and that makes very little room for the dramatics. But all in all i still enjoyed the story and if u are not a fan of drama u May enjoy it even more.

Good Story

This was a good story. Two hetero men exploring same sex attraction for the first time. Some of the f bombs felt over the top but that's to be expected in this genre.

Great book

I really liked this book. Sweet and sexy!
I am surprised I am saying this but there was a little to much sex. I’d preferred more story. But it’s a good book. I like the narrator too!

Absolutely amazing.

The story, the love, passion, hardship, and unexpected turns of events just had my jaw on the floor. Not to mention the descriptive imagery of the love the two shared. I will for ever listen to this book and also went ahead and bought the hard copy. Shifting gears here I come.

Swoon

Such a fantastic book. I swoon for these two. A double Gay-For-You. It’s not an easy trope to make believable but Riley does it beautifully.

Two neighbours who become incredible friends. Wanting to spend all their time together, and have them be a part of their entire lives. It’s sweet, their build-up to friendship. It’s also sweet how oblivious they are to the reason for their newfound obsession with each other.

I love a slow burn, especially one that involves an ‘oh damn, that’s what I’m feeling!’ moment. Or in this case two of those moments.

I was especially taken by how committed they were to each other, even when they were questioning themselves or when others reacted poorly. It’s not that they didn’t have a lot of emotions to process or plenty of moments where they questioned whether or not they should continue, but they were always grounded by the strength of their feelings and how right it all felt in the end.

I also loved the role that sex played in their relationship. Not just that it was hot (which it was) but also appreciated their desire to explore everything, to give and take.

Narrator Sean Crisden does a really lovely job with these two guys. I really enjoyed this as an audiobook.

Sweet

Very sweet story but man their families made me so mad. That part of the story is very plausible unfortunately l. Loved it overall though. Had me in my feelings
