What did you love best about Mating Brand?

This is the 3rd book of the Mating series, and by far the best. While the other two books are extremely good, this story line is very good. It is hot, it gives you a backstory on Brand and his mate. Although I love a good love story, I enjoy substance to a story even more, and this book doesn't disappoint. Definitely recommend!

I love this book.
While Dohnner is one my favorite authors, the other books in this series are a little heavy on the bedroom scenes and light on the plot. However, this one makes up for all the faults in the earlier books. The love story between the main characters is so sweet and perfect. There is no made up drama or silly misunderstandings. They know what they want and recognize their feelings from the start. Circumstances force them apart but when they're given another chance, they don't hesitate for a minute. It makes for a wonderful, heart warming read that I would highly recommend for any romance fan.

In book two we learn about Brand and how we had a relationship with a she-cat.
Well that she-cat comes back to warn him and his pack about her pride and the other pride's going after them for revenge from what happened in book two.

I loved how when Brand sees her he automatically won’t let her go again. And how their connection is as strong as it was even with the time they were apart.

This book is action-packed and HELLA sexy no lye lots of steamy scenes.

I kinda of wanted another book!! I loved how this one ended but I feel like we are missing some great side characters stories like the cousin and the enforcers. I am sad that it seems like this series is done.

I loved the narration, the male voice’s the female voice’s G.C. VanCoudts does a freaking amazing job!

Brand and Charma come from two different worlds and their kinds aren't allowed to be together. I hear you. I too hate when characters are ripped apart for years then brought back together, but this worked for me. Charma had to make some tough choices at a pretty young age. The cat shifter community runs with stricter and more harsh laws so she did what she had to do to save her family, leaving Brand behind thinking that maybe he could move on and find someone who could really be his mate...

Nine years later Charma is stuck with an abusive husband/mate who she was forced to be with to keep her family safe. He is abusive in all ways and it’s extremely heartbreaking. The first 10% really pulls at the heartstrings in making me feel for Charma and understanding why she did what she did. Now that her family is safe she could run, but she doesn't have anywhere to go and has no idea how to even find Brand. She believes the chances of him not having moved on are none. Then one day she finds out her pack is about to attack another and she sees his photo in the stack of targets. She still loves him deeply and if there is one thing she can do it is at least save his life and warn him of what’s coming...

Most of the story is a gush of love and mating heat sex with a nice dab of Action included into this wonderful mix... This book is Full of All the Good Stuff Laurann can throw into a fab story... Bring on book 4, I cant wiat :)

Romantic with good character development, interesting storyline. I especially liked the strength of the characters and their willingness to fight for for what they wanted. Always a draw for me is the commitment to the the protection of the family.

This was book three of the "Mating Heat" series and the last one on audible, I sure hope there will be more in the future.

Brand and Charma met in college and fell in love, but there's only one problem, she is half Human and half Leopard shapeshifter, and he is a wolf!  We hear the story of their years of separation and why, and also what brings them back together again.

Just like in book two there may be some triggers for some people due to the violence against a woman, so just be aware of that before selecting this book.

Their love story is actually heartfelt, and I really enjoyed this story.  Also in this book, I feel that we got a better ending than in the last two books as Laurann gave us a good ending by telling us about all the characters in the story.  However, I think she could have made it much more special if she would have made the story longer by telling us about the baby shifters that Brand and Charma are about to have; and let us know if they get the Leopard genes or the Wolf genes.  

I really do enjoy Laurann's creative stories, but she always stops short of an amazing ending in my opinion.  I hope she gives the rest of the Harris boys their own story and releases it on audible.  

When she does, I will be listening!

Ms.Dohner is ALWAYS great with romantic, erotic stories. I have read and listened to this book several times. It's definitely on my repeat list. Great narrator on this audio and with the picture on front makes it a amazing visual read. Keep them coming please.
