This book is basically theology of the body for protestants and evangelicals. If that is you and you are looking at getting into Pope John Paul II's Theology of Body this book is a good introduction.

Christopher West is an excellent ambassador of TOB and this particular book is such a gift to enjoy the usually missed Catholic content by Protestants, building a wide enough bridge for mutual edification. As a pastor myself, I totally recommend this book.

This is the absolute best book I've ever read about human sexuality. It has changed my life. The Holy Spirit showed me a perspective that I had never before had. I highly recommend but only for those who truly want more than what see from society today.

This was another thought provoking book by Christopher West. it is challenging. West's long experience studying and teaching TOB clearly explains the human body and gender.

The only thing that could have made this book better was if Christopher West narrated it himself.

The book is an excellent summary of the TOB and so crucial in today’s gendered/degendered culture. Chapter 7 in particular sheds some almost painfully bright light on the ramifications of contraception and abortion and the impacts they have on society. These teachings are hard to accept and may be a wake up call for many faithful Christians, but as West points out, it is a matter of life or death. An excellent listen especially if you want to hear the truth of the whole biblical narrative unapologetically proclaimed.

This is a must read for anyone getting into a relationship. This book helps understand God's plan and answers the question "Why can't I just have sex?" I wish someone had told me about this years ago.
