Grade survey of CS Luis works narration and performance perfect

This was a great survey, audio survey that is of CS. Luis notable works, and even excerpts from the works of George McDonald. Each of the narrators selected were outstanding for the particular work that they narrated. Really enjoyed this collection.

Loved it.

All narrators work wonderfully with the brilliant writing of C.S. Lewis. I think my favorite was the Screwtape Letters, which was read by a gentleman who seems perfectly suited to the role. At some times I felt myself in the weeds, but it’s just more incentive for me to listen again- which I will!

Inspiring!

C.S. Lewis had a gift for explaining the mysteries of godliness in a way that makes them at once comprehensible to the lay Christian while still producing the awe and reverence that is their due. A magnificent collection of some of his most important writings. I especially enjoyed the George MacDonald anthology at the end. I had heard that Lewis took a lot of his inspiration from G. MacDonald, and the anthology really brings that influence to light. Wonderful experience listening to this.
