Just wow!
This book had so much emotion from the characters & family members. A lot of things were revealed that we’ve been waiting on from other books. As always, an amazing love story with lots of hot erotic sex, this one is just s lot more. Great job Ms Leigh & Ms Bronte.

Loved it!
I Love Lora Leigh as a author and all her series, but my favorite is by far the Breed series with Brianna Bronte as the narrator, She totally brings the books alive. Rule Breakers story is a must listen to along with all the previous breed books. I would suggest listening to the series in order as how they were written to keep up on the story lines and the characters.

Breaking the Rules
This book is an excellent addition to the Breeds series. Admittedly, some books are better than others in this series, but overall, it's a fantastic series and this book stood out for me as one of the best. Having read this series from the beginning, I'm not sure how this book would stand alone, but I would highly recommend this series to those who love romance, scifi/paranormal with a big dose of erotica thrown into the mix.
The Breeds were created in labs by an evil entity known as "The Genetics Council". They combined human and animal DNA in an attempt to create super soldiers. Their treatment in the labs was horrendous. Once their existence is revealed to the world, their introduction into society and their assimilation is a rocky one, to say the least. A phenomenon called "Mating Heat" effects the breeds, causing them to be irresistibly drawn to their perfect mate.
Coming out of the labs, the Breeds chose names for themselves, and our hero in this book chose (one can only imagine with his tongue in his cheek) the name Rule Breaker. He and his twin, both Lion breeds, were forced to watch their mother dissected by evil scientist in the labs in an attempt to understand mating heat, so Rule has vowed to never subject a woman to that risk. He intends to run fast and hard at the first "whiff" of his mate. When he meets Gypsy, he feels a compulsion to keep an eye on her and ensure her safety, but she's only 15, has just lost her brother to Council soldiers, and he suffers from no signs of the mating heat when he's near her. He protects her from afar for 9 years until his duties bring him back to the Navajo nation area where Gypsy lives. Gypsy, now 24, is up to her neck in intrigue. When he sees her again, Rule feels intense attraction, but thankfully, still no signs of the mating heat. Feeling safe, he proceeds to attempt a seduction.
Gypsy feels responsible for the death of her brother, who was a human computer whiz and spy for the Breeds, when she was only 15. Her parents distanced themselves from her after her brothers murder and her near rape by Council soldiers. Feeling the need to redeem herself and somehow atone, Gypsy joins a covert group and becomes an operative that is only known as "Whisper". She's a friend to all, but a lover to none. When the Breed Rule Breaker decides to pursue her for more than friendship, she feels the attraction, but fights it. Her handlers forbid her from forming intimate attachments. Her work and her redemption is all her life has been about since her brothers death, and she doesn't want to give that up.
In typical Lora Leigh style, the hero is hot, the sex is hotter, and the machinations of all the players can make you rewind more than a few times. Unlike many erotic novels, there's an excellent story with plenty of action going on outside of the bedroom.
Brianna Bronte delivers this story with consummate professionalism. Her pleasant voice, great timing and awesome delivery is just spectacular. Well worth my credit!

love love love hotttttt and thrilling!!!!!
What made the experience of listening to Rule Breaker the most enjoyable?
This book was hot!!! But written with a story that keeps you guessing all the way till the end!!! This is my first review but I had to write this.... Such a good book!!!! There were a few times that there may of been a bit to much details on something but I still loved it and there are some smoking hot parts which is always gooooood :-)
What about Brianna Bronte’s performance did you like?
I love this narrator she has a great voice and you can tell who is who as she changes her voice it's amazing!!!

Not the same old story
What did you love best about Rule Breaker?
The story is different, finally. It was not the same as her previous Breed story lines. Both parties were running from each other, well not from each other, but from the mating. This made for an interesting read/listen. Also there were insights to other main characters, i.e. Dane.
What three words best describe Brianna Bronte’s performance?
Okay, for the most part Ms. Bronte's performance is good. I could not do half as good as she does. However, there are too many times when she is overly dramatic. Also, her mispronunciations take away from her performance (machinations and virulent).
Any additional comments?
I hope that she develops a story for Candy Sweet, and Thea. They should not be left in pain.
What I really can't wait for is Dane's story. Also, I would like more interaction of the past main characters the new characters. What are Callan's other brother-in-laws doing?

Psychic Connections!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Rule Breaker?
The most memorable moment for me was when Gypsy finally gives in to temptation only to be disappointed with Rule's response. I don't usually do get emotional over publications but this one brought me to tears. Broken rules and connections never before realized.
Have you listened to any of Brianna Bronte’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Brianna really need to work on different voices and emotion. I have many of her readings and they are all beginning to sound the same.

Lora Leigh's Finest
I'm a huge Lora Leigh fan. She's one of the first shifter authors I ever read and I still measure others against her. You absolutely need to read this series, starting at book one, if you're a fan of shifter romance. A super sexy listen!
