About this listen

From number-one best-selling author Lora Leigh comes the thrilling Brute Force audiobook series — packed with powerful men, steely women, and explosive passion.

She's nothing but trouble
Riordan Malone is more than a bodyguard. As an Elite Ops agent, he’s ripped, raged, and ready to rumble—a true warrior, inside and out. But no war zone can compare to the battle in Rory’s heart when he lays eyes on the only woman he’s ever loved—and thought he had lost forever....

He's everything she needs
As the daughter of a crime lord, Amara Resnova has endured the cruelty of her father’s enemies—and has tried to escape that world ever since. Now, she must reach out to the one man who saved her life, even if she’s never forgiven him for breaking her heart. But Amara is tougher today than she was then. She’s also more desirable to Rory—and dangerous to love. Can he protect her from her father’s enemies without surrendering to his own passions…or will love seal their fate for good?

Good

Lora Leigh can write some seriously sexy sex scenes and entertaining stories. I enjoyed this one, just as I enjoy nearly all Lora Leigh's books. This was romantic and sexy and fun.

Classic Lora Leigh, Romantic, Erotic, Action & Intrigue

Well done Lora Leigh.
The storyline is well developed , the narration is perfect, Brianna delivered a flawless performance.

Sexy alpha male (special ops) determine to do what it takes to protect
the woman who stole his heart. Lots of intrigue, deception, danger and
sizzling hot erotic moments on back drop of soul connecting true love and commitment.
Now I have to listen to this story again, I can’t get enough of that hot
alpha male Rory.

Another fantastic erotic mystery

Ms Leigh & Ms Bronte together have a wonderfully exciting new branch off series to the Elite Ops one. This one had several we loved from before and introduced several new ones. Even lovable Gran Pops Malone appears in this one. The horrible things Amara went thru, just shows what strength she had. Loved it, it’s another not to be missed book.

Disappointed

I’ve read all of Leigh’s Elite Ops books and loved them but this is one of her worst books. Story line poor and constant whining of Amara very annoying, constantly in conflict with her “true love”. Riordan character was much exaggerated and overdone possibly because of reader. Almost returned the book but thought I’d see it out but should have returned it as was waste of my credit. Even the sex was overdone. Hope Leigh future writings improve.

worst book ever

I can not believe I was able to finish this book. I had to check so many times to make sure I was listening to a Lora Leigh. suffice to say that the hero was just ok, but the behavior of the heroine set my teeth on edge. I can't see myself buying any of the other books from this series as for the most part I was confused about what was going on.

So many questions, no answers.

I agree with one of the previous reviews - did the same author write this?? It was confusing...the entire time I felt like I had missed some previous book that explained a lot of things. The worst was the whole Nathan/Noah thing...wtf??? No explanation. This author’s other series were not like this. There was no plot development. I feel like it was just the same thing happening over and over until the end. The only reason I’m giving this one star is for the narration. It was decent, although all the male characters sounded a little like angsty teenagers occasionally. I have to say I would not recommend this, but the Nauti series by Lora Leigh was much better. If you’re looking for what I think this book was supposed to be, I’d read that instead.

Can't finish it. Had to return it.

I've read her books before and enjoyed them. This is confusing, weak and I was bored to tears. I'm a third of the way through and given up. Doesn't seem like the same author wrote this?
