This is amazing read. This is a forbidden love story that is spicy and fast paced. I loved this story and will read more from this author. I was drawn in from the very first page and read in one setting. I listened to the audio and the narrative is amazing with this story. The narrative brings the characters to life through out this story and you can get the feel of the characters and the plot.

Liza is engaged against her will for her family's sake. While Roman is trying to fight his attaction to Liza and getting involved with her would complicate business. The story was already great! It is even better now that it is read by great narrators. They embody Liza and Roman really well.

This book is full of twists and turns just like I like it! I couldn’t put this book down, I loved it , Roman’s and Liza’s story was amazing good 🖤
Okay so this is a re-read it’s one of my favorite book and the audio just made it even better!

This was an audiobook re-read for me. I loved this book when I read it but now to have it on audiobook is a dream and both Nikki Grey and Stephen Dexter did an amazing job as the voices of Liza and Roman. I will definitely be listening to more from both of these narrators. And I can’t wait for more audiobooks from Monica!!

Every book I’ve read by Monica Kayne is so good and they are always better than the last one I read by her. Ruthless Reign is no different and I pretty sure Roman has beat out Maxim for my favorite MMC written by Monica though Maxim is a very close second!!

We met Roman and Liza in Shattered Crowns and while in that book we didn’t see a lot of them together I could tell there was tension between them and I couldn’t wait for their story! Let me tell you Monica delivered on that tension I was seeing. But her fiancé and her parents ugh, I hated them the whole book which is understandable with how they treat Liza. Roman knew something was up and he was all about protecting Liza. he definitely didn’t want Liza’s fiancé to marry her and he got his way in the end.

I loved this book so much I didn’t want it to end, so if you like mafia romance with overprotective men who would do anything for their woman you will want to read this book! And I can’t wait for book 2 in the series!

This is definitely stressful and you see the impossibility. It was frustrating at times understanding why FMC wanted to do everything on her own and not being trustful of a man after her past and current situation.

The performance of the voice actors overall was great but I did cringe everytime they had to say a word not in English wasn’t believable and felt forced and never executed well.

Author nails the spice everytime !!!!

Stephen Dexter and Nikki Grey brought Roman and Liza to life! These two characters were easy to fall in love with. Stephen made Roman's voice swoon-worthy in a deep rasp that tickled my fancy. Nikki portrayed Liza as feminine but taking no crap from anyone. Liza isn't a pushover and can more than stand up to the tough Bratva man while melting for him deep inside. Together, these two voice talents enveloped my senses, drawing me deeper into the plot twists and drawing gasps and sighs from me.

Ruthless Reign is book #1 in the Bratva Kings series. Liza is being forced into an arranged marriage with Anatoly, who is abusive to her. Roman is a business partner-ish of Anatoly, but totally has chemistry with Liza. A trip to London where he is the bodyguard turns the spark to a flame (sex club and opera!!). This is a new author for me as this is her first audiobook, but Ms. Kayne immediately became mafia author royalty for me. I loved so much about this book and her writing. The MMC was strong and possessive, but still had respect for the FMC. The FMC was NEVER a doormat and her loyalty to her sister was unfailing. Now, I'm not-so-patiently waiting for the next book to be released in audio... 🤞🏻

The narration was perfection! Stephen Dexter and Nikki Gray really brought us the passion and desire that was pulsing between Roman and Liza. 5/5 breathtaking stars!!

I loved Liza and Roman’s story! It was everything I was hoping for after their meeting in Kira’s book. Their chemistry is so electric, and they absolutely ignited on the page. I am not big on age gap, but it wasn’t a huge focus of the story. Liza’s determination to be her own hero and Roman’s protectiveness clash at every turn creating a truly enthralling story.
