I never give mafia stories more than 4 stars bc they are very insta-lusty and not actual love. But this one is soo different 🥹 the MMC is soo sweet and patient i loved it soo much. The FMC was strong although she’s been through hell. Duet narration? michelle heard is spoiling us.

Michelle Heard never disappoints when it comes to mafia men! Love everything about this book, the story, the characters! Love the two narrators so much, they did a great job and love their voices and the passion!

This is a delightful mafia romance. The protagonist exudes a golden retriever vibe, which I absolutely adore. It’s an excellent choice for palate cleansing and refreshing your mafia romance cravings simultaneously, thanks to its concise and engaging nature. However, be aware that the story contains some mental health triggers. These triggers are often associated with trauma tropes, arranged marriages, domestic violence, child abuse, and other similar themes. Therefore, it’s crucial to review the trigger warnings before reading. Despite these potential triggers, I highly recommend giving this book a try. Narrators were amazing

I could not get enough of this book!! I loved the MMC and how different he was compared to other mafia romances and the FMC was incredible; strong but perfect! Can’t wait for the next one!
