Haven Antonelli and Carmine DeMarco have been through a lot. Haven was taken in by Carmine's father, and with his family's help, she escaped a gruesome fate. However, saving Haven from the dark intentions of a mafia family cost Carmine a steep price: He was forced to swear loyalty to them.
Now, still passionately in love, Carmine and Haven must face the fall-out of Carmine's forced service, as Haven discovers terrifying secrets about the family that enslaved both her and her mother - and why she matters so much in this intricate web of lies.

Would you consider the audio edition of Sempre: Redemption to be better than the print version?
I did not read this story.....but I highly doubt reading it could possible be better. It was one of the best stories I have ever read or listened to, kudos to the author this was fabulous!!!What did you like best about this story?
The ever enduring love between the two young loversWhat does Carla Mercer-Meyer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I thought she did a great job, she actually sounded young like young adults, made it believableWas this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Full of twists and turns.
Wish the epilogue would have been longer and would have included more of the characters.

Would you listen to Sempre: Redemption again? Why?
Yes because I'm sure I missed some things the first time. It was also that good to where I'd enjoy it again like it was my first listen. What other book might you compare Sempre: Redemption to and why?
I think Burying Water by K. A . Tucker. They both have mob ties and they both have that emotion that tugs are your heart a bit.Which scene was your favorite?
While I had many favorite scenes I really liked the Epilogue.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book made me want to cry several times.Any additional comments?
I liked the 3rd person telling that followed more than just Haven and Carmine. My feelings for her haven’t changed a bit. She’s still rather timid and unsure of herself and I thought that was OK. I got to feel her grow some and experience life as she should. Carmine disappointed me for a bit. I didn’t like his careless attitude even though he was going through a hard time. I seriously felt for some of the things he had to do and witness.I was a little up and down on my feelings for Corrado. At times he just seemed so mean. I liked him but kind of at a distance. I also liked how everything wrapped up. I had a lot more emotions throughout listening to this than I expected. Also, the amount of times I felt on edge was pretty high as well.
