About this listen

In the time since she was abducted from her world by a cruel, tyrannical general, 18-year-old Jalinda has been given little reason to trust any man, let alone three barbarian brothers who take it upon themselves to rescue her. But the rough, handsome warriors intend to share a wife, and they mean for that wife to be Jalinda. Shocked by the thought of belonging to three men, she refuses to go along with their plan, but her lack of cooperation is quickly overcome by way of a switch applied to her bare bottom.

Upon reaching their home planet, the brothers waste no time in beginning their shared bride's training. As Jalinda soon discovers, she will be expected to submit to them absolutely, and disobedience will result in punishments far more humiliating than a mere bare-bottom spanking. Her barbarian husbands will protect her, provide for her, and love her, but they will also enjoy her in any way they desire. She will be claimed by each of them and by all of them together, in private and in public, in ways that will leave her blushing crimson yet also burning with need.

Despite her shame, before long Jalinda finds herself craving the intense pleasure which results from surrendering herself to the brothers' masterful lovemaking, and with each passing day she grows fonder of the men who freed her from the sadistic general and made her their own. But her former captor is not an enemy to be taken lightly, and when he comes after the brothers with an army at his back, intent on vengeance, can they protect both their world and their woman?

Good

Overall a good story, but I thought the heroine was too naive and not very smart. She is not easy to relate to, as she irritates me with her words and actions. The sex scenes are very good, even though the men treat the women like sex slaves. I wish their philosophy on women gave women even a little more choice or respect. To always have to walk around without any clothes and to perhaps be given to any man for sex at the say of your husband, is creepy.
Very entertaining and intense.

Brother Barbarians!

This is a sinfully seductive book! The story is extremely well thought out and written storyline. I definitely enjoyed listening to this book.
The narrator does a fantastic job with the characters and voices of each character. He does a great female voice. The male voices are a deep sexy baritone.
I definitely recommend this book to anyone who love erotic romance!

Audio quality and narrator performance was awful

I'm sorry, I couldn't finish this (I could barely start it.) So I'm giving it a neutral 3 stars for the Story because I honestly don't know. But the audio quality sounded like someone recorded it on their iphone, and his performance was almost as bad. I don't like to leave bad reviews, but I wish I had read them before I wasted my time downloading this. At least I was lucky enough to have had a free promo code so I didn't waste a credit.

Okay

3/5 rating: An okay listen, but the negative points felt significant.

I recommend this book for... fans of hard-core erotica only.

On the plus side... The erotic scenes are hot. The fantasy world created is an escape for the reader. The narration is okay.

On the negative side... The plot exists only to move from one erotic scene to the next.

Seriously...?

the storyline was BLAH and the narrator was just awful. One: he was difficult to hear because he had this weird Whispering quality the entire time, two: he had the worst feminine voice with this awful whiny-ness to it, three: there was a high pitched sound in the background throughout the entire thing, and four: there were so many instances where I felt a total disconnection to the heroine because her character seemed inconsistent. I had a really hard time getting through this story. I had to stop a bunch of times and kind of grit my teeth because I heard this author was great. WTF? will I ever listen to anything from her again? f*** no.

I love Emily Tilton's World of Barbarians

This book is everything you would think of possible in the realm of Emily's D/s world. I loved it. Great read or listen, in one sitting.

Ugh

I try to look for the good, but I can only describe the narration as this: if my computer animated reading software was running low on batteries after running an extreme endurance race and was bored. Sorry not sorry

I am not a fan at all.

The narration falls flat but that could just be due to the content. I have to finish a book no matter how awful it is. This one I read in stages just to finish.... kinda choked it down and it left a bad after taste. Just wham bam I'm sticking it in your rear! blah blah blah.

The womans point of view: I need to be punished just for having a vagina cause I can't listen and punishing me makes me realize how much I need to be stuffed......(paraphrased).

I cringed at parts that I believe we're meant to be "hot" and I laughed at many of the phrases, not the good kinda laugh but the WTF kinda laugh.
