About this listen

An Essence and Blackboard best seller, this novel is the soulful, sexy, and uncensored tale of a beautiful fashion photographer, the man she loves, and the people who want to keep them apart. African-American erotic fiction takes a new direction here with Morrison's imaginative and very graphic work.

Interesting story

Wouldn't call this a typical HEA romantic tale. The story is very sexy and hot! There is a good balance of love, betrayal and redemption. The narration added depth to the setting and the characters. I will add this author to my listening list. A great escape selection.

Great storyline

Would you listen to Soulmates Dissipate again? Why?

I would, because I really liked the characters and the story.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the ups and downs very similar to events in my own life. I loved the way each character had an angle clearly defined throughout the tale.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I liked the sound of the readers voice. I did not enjoy the sound of the male characters coming from a female reader

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

SMD

Can read over and over again!!

What did you love best about Soulmates Dissipate?

The whole book was so interesting to me, it had the sexy love parts, but it also had a mystery twist to it as well. I am a sucker for mystery novels and not so much the love novels but this book I must admit is one of my favorites now.

What other book might you compare Soulmates Dissipate to and why?

I don’t think I have read any other book that can compare to this one. Just the whole plot of the book how it makes you think about yourself and your relationship is well put together. The characters roles are right on point, it makes you think that there are people really out there that are doing those things now.

What about Indigo Brown’s performance did you like?

The feeling and emotion is one of my big things, I don’t like when a ready is really just reading, I want to be able to be emotional with the reader and Indigo accomplished that for me.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I don’t really know it would probably be the same.

Any additional comments?

I would love to see this book become a movie.
