About this listen

Sex advice...from a pastor's wife? Oh my.

Well, why not? Who better to give sound, biblical advice about what God actually has in mind for your sex life? From pastor's wife and author Lucille Williams comes The Intimacy You Crave: Straight Talk About Sex and Pancakes, a transparent, surprisingly honest, widely informative approach to transform your sex life and safeguard your marriage.

Many women struggle with their sexuality, and unfortunately, too many settle for reading about romance rather than living it out in their own lives. Within The Intimacy You Crave are relatable, real-life fantasies and desires of everyday women - but more important are the step-by-step instructions and straight talk about sex from a pastor's wife that will challenge and equip you to work toward a greater intimacy that infiltrates every area of your married life. Whether you crave something as simple as a pancake breakfast together after "makin' bacon in the bedroom" or a deep connection with your husband unlike anything you've experienced before, Lu's unprecedented insights and step-by-step challenges will increase your desire and deepen a sexual intimacy that overflows into every area of your married life.

It's time to say "Yes" to great sex!

Contains mature themes.

I loved the narrative and wished it went on longer. I wanted tonhear more about how to deal.with a man who has committed himself so much to his work and who sees his wife as a continuation if himself and doesn't necessarily notice our marriage needs its own attention.

Many of us grew up in Christian homes and remember how our parents, or in my case, Sunday School teachers, made us feel like sex was shameful & dirty and something to feel guilty about. Believing it was simply designed for reproduction purposes and not for pleasure. I loved how the truths about sex were explained without beating around the bush and very matter of fact like. Also, explaining how sex & fantasies between a married couple is permissible as long as both agree and none of God’s laws are broken. (Such as bringing a third person into the bedroom wether actually or through fantasy or porn.

Much needed, straightforward talk about the beauty of an exciting sex like with your spouse.,

Loved it!! She brings out things that I have never thought of before! And debates the social norms that our culture has provoked, that we are not sexual beings
