Lifetime of love

I loved this story. Graham and Apollo meet when they’re kids and circumstances keep them apart but close as friends. Life gets in their way more times than I can count. I was shocked at some parts. I was weeping at others. I read the kindle version of this years ago but hearing it was a whole new experience. The narrators do a fantastic job of capturing all the emotions of these characters.

Dylan Allen really knows how to write a story! these characters were my best friends, I was there with them through all the struggles and happiness, and I am going to miss them. the narrators did a wonderful job as well bringing to life such wonderful characters. this book/audio will stay with me for a life time. Def worth a reread a few dozen times!

This book had my emotions all over place.

When it starts it's so sweet, but then you have religious abuse. That in it self will have you feeling some type of way which is not good. Then there is hope and so much love. This book was so real with friendship turning into a great love. The real is how life happens which sometimes can have us doing things we really don't want to do, but see no other option. There is not so many detailed sex scenes bc there is alot of a... let's just say you know he is having a lot of sex. But there are a few that will be the only ones you will care about and they are hot so 🔥. This book is so real, you will feel as this could have really happened to someone. I loved this story and I love the emotions it made me feel.

Mixed Feelings...

Initially, I was pulling for the two friends to be lovers. Then after, Graham became a whore & self serving attention seeker...he needed to be humbled before he got Apollo. That just didn't happen, she just pretty much allowed him back in, & then he had the nerve to give her ultimatums. I lost respect for her character, and thought you deserve to be a mat, because she keeps allowing it. She is so frustrating, she doesn't want the limelight, but understands what his profession is...huh??? All he did was wine & dine her & she melted. So, with that said, by the end of the book, I wasn't looking forward to a HEA. The fight for them to be together in the beginning was good, even when he was whoring, it wasn't until his fame, & complete disrespect to her, did I stop pulling for him. Needless to say, there are some sexy scenes, the author did a great job writing, I just didn't like the storyline. Perhaps, if he was humbled a bit more, then, it would've been better. Of course Aiden & Lucy gave us a phenomenal performance. They are why I finished the book. Great narration choice!
