About this listen

One mission. One truck driver. Three beautiful women. Time to save the world.

Bill “Hero” Reynolds never expected to be the man who saved the world from an alien invasion. However, when a solar storm hits, his truck is the only one left on the road, and he’s recruited for a secret mission. He’s got a long way to go and a short time to get there. To make his delivery on time, he’ll need help: an adrenaline junkie brunette, a feisty blonde sharpshooter, and a nerdy redheaded scientist. But as they drive America’s highways, an extraterrestrial sheriff and his dim-witted robot are hot on their trail, and they won’t rest until Hero and his crew are in jail.

Trucker off to save the world.

It may be because I'm a trucker myself, but I just love the stories I've read about truckers. Especially in the harem and GameLit genres.
Aliens have taken over the planet and are ruling it by tyranny.
So our trucker MC and his "used to be" exes are gonna save it and get rid of the alien invaders.
Fun story that starts off a bit confusing and slow but soon gets into a good flow and some spicy scenes and action.
I give this book 7 out of 5 stars.

Trucker as protagonist

Different kind of MC. Not everybook as a trucker MC and it feels fresh. Those familiar to the genre will like the book and since its a single story book it can be a good start for anyone interested.

Smokey and the Bandit meet Alien Invasion

Fun story based off the timeless movie. This was a fun story from the start to the end.

The narrator did a fantastic job with this one. She was able to bring the story to life and keep you interested the whole way through.

Another great book by Chase Danger. You will not be disappointed. Also Erin Bateman's narration really brings the story to life.

A Filmesque Adventure with Several High Points...

The setting of the story is interesting, mankind getting by in the world after falling under the rule of aliens. A war vet simply trying to make his way in life until "destiny" calls. While the southern drawl of the story is normally appealing to a particular audience, it's easy to appreciate it the longer you hear it.

The biggest highlights of the story are from the interactions between the MC and the love interest(s). With some being old ex-lovers, meeting back up with them was immersively dramatic. The group patching their relationship up, all the while avoiding a delusional alien paved the way for several entertaining moments.

Erin Bateman did pretty well. There were equal moments where it feels like she narrates the characters perfectly, as there were moments where she comes of sounding almost mechanical (Not including the times when she is narrating as the aliens).

Overall the story is fun. While not groundbreaking or dramatic, this book had great character moments that you wouldn't experience outside of a story like this.

Chase Danger with another fun twist on the genre.

Chase Danger does it again with another fun twist on the genre. This is a standalone book. A solar storm leads our MC "Hero" to aliens, "an adrenaline junkie brunette, a feisty blonde sharpshooter, a nerdy redheaded scientist", and of course a semi truck. Everything you'd expect. This story is well done, the plot moves along nicely, and just enough development to keep you interested but not drag down the story. Audio Version: Erin Bateman...enough said. She's fantastic in this genre.

Another fun adventure from Chase Danger!

This was a fun journey that really should continue in a second book. I'll eagerly look forward to another one like this!

Hero

I really liked this book. chase danger did amazing, good narration by Erin Bateman

I can't wait for book 2, this book was way better than I thought it would be, Erin batemen does such a great job with the narration and characters, she has to be on of the best female narrators.

i honestly wish this book was longer, it's way too short. It's usually like that with these books. The mc Is a relatable and I actually like the truck driver aspect.
it's not like what most people would think, he's not some hill Billy with red cheeks and a Redbull.
The characters are also really cool, Erin Bateman does a good job giving the characters life. And the 3 girls isn't as bad as I would think if would be.

I feel like the story is lacking, Even with that its still performed really well.
The character progression is actually good, it's not that fast paced but I like it. The world building is better, even with how short this book is Chase gives it alot of detail.
The harem aspect isn't bad and I feel it makes the book better. I also like the premise of this book, it's nothing like other books. The setting this book is in Is also good. The plot was lacking, and I feel like there were some plot holes.
I also feel like the plot lacked depth. I also wonder where he got the idea of this book. It's really good, and there needs to be more books like it.

There is also one girl character I can't stand, I won't say who but I can't stand her, and I stopped listening to the book for about a hour because she made me so mad.

If I did have too rate the parts for this book it'd be. Last 1st, Middle 2nd, start 3rd, I feel like the start has too be the worst part about this series by a long run.

This book is worth the credit with everything it has. The length of this book is another story tho, I really like how this book was performed even with all of the stuff I don't like about it.
Chase danger does a really good job with this book, I can't wait for book 2, and hopefully this book will be talked about for a while with how good it is.

Love this book!

Really great start. New take on the genre. Funny characters, a few hotties, the sex isn’t over the top.
I’m ready for the next one.
