About this listen

My rise as an OP mage in the LitRPG apocalypse.

I was there when the Gaia System was first born. The changes were more than anyone could have dreamed of: magical powers, a stronger body, and a call to adventure. It should have been a paradise; gifted the ability to combine spells with my Meta Bracer, I should have had an easy climb to the top.

Maybe it was just me, Jory Mitchels, previously middle management in a start-up from hell. The change was supposed to make life better for the humans of Earth, but something went wrong. An anomaly occurred involving my previous boss, a misguided man child billionaire who believes in the healing power of crystals and essential oils.

On a quest to clean up the bastard's mess, with a beautiful sorceress and a brimstone burping monster at my side, this second life as a glass cannon mage is off to a memorable start.

Contains unconventional relationships and adult situations.

Why is it so short?

It's a very enjoyable tale, though a bit short. The relationship between the MC and his love interesting felt a lacking intimacy, thus causing minimal adult scenes. Worth a listen though.

Amazing

Atlas Kane has quickly become my favorite author. His characters are so well written, and the story flows smoothly without any unnecessary dull portions for filler. The relationships are believable and exciting, from friendships to relationships. Great new series and I anxiously await more!!!

The Story that Started off Wet’n’Wild

Wow, pulling out the alpaca birthing canal corporate meme was hilarious! So many witticisms. The Gaia system is crazy talk for a human on Earth to comprehend, but the MC had a head on his shoulders to bring through the pain.

I loved the never leave someone behind vibe throughout the story, and vengeance against the insane person also classy. I kinda hoped Thera had come along sooner, because her currents grounded them. Hah! So many coporate jokes with a vibrant information system, that i wad blown away with just how many glitches occured, the game AI could only shrug it off and fe'lt week as hell.

The bonds between Thera and the MC left me grinning ear to ear each! i definitely want to listen to it again and soon! The MC really is frail!

Great use of setting

I’ve read a listened to a few story’s with this premise and this on does the best with it so far the Mc doesn’t brood the whole book the side characters don’t carry them and the narrators do amazingly

excellent story

I enjoyed listening to this and the narrators did an excellent job. the characters were well filled out and the narrators made sure each had unique voices, the feelings that the characters were experiencing was felt from narrators. excellent job Atlas on crafting a wonderful tale. excellent work from Daniel and Amber made this a pleasure to listen to.
