About this listen

This book is a spinoff of the Enthralled series and is intended to be enjoyed after System Ascension (Enthralled, book 4).

Mark’s memories of everything that happened after he stepped into the Crystal Heart have been erased by Jezebel as part of her deal with Original Mark. He doesn’t know that his mind is purely digital, he doesn’t know he is only a copy of the original, and he certainly doesn’t remember Sasha’s betrayal.

When his personal assistant in sex-demon form breaks into the game world, scarred from her own ordeals and professing her remorse, Jezebel has no choice but to make another deal.

With Mark still wondering what the hell is going on, they both agree to share him as they explore the new world Jezebel has created to acclimate his human mind to its new existence as pure energy.

A great spin-off off Enthralled. The MC is evolving and the story is going in directions that are new and unique. The characters are well thought out and work well with the story. A good balance of action and spice to keep the reader going.

Amazing Book

Loved how the MC developed differently from the original. Definitely saw more sides of Mark overall, but enjoyed the Copy making his own identity.

Continuation with the Copy

Was worried where this great series was going to go but no worries, this book takes the series in new ways and to new heights... again, the biggest problem is waiting for the next book!!!

Great next step in the series

dont get me wrong, this isn't shackspear, but it's well written and besides the author always chosen a dude to narrate. I've always enjoyed this series.

love this series

This is a wonderful series following up on the original. The new storyline is great and the narrator is top tier. I highly recommend.

Great follow up to Enthralled

I'm about ten percent through this extension of the enthralled universe and it seems some of the narrative momentum has been lost. The author keeps repeating plot points, really hammering it in that this is a different story, yet I'm finding it hard to believe that this is a "pure" Mark copy. He's just not acting as devastated or as weirded out as one should when discovering you're already dead, nor is he freaking out at all, which gives me the impression that the hero version of his brain is still in there somewhere, which would directly contradict the plot. It might also be the narrator's tone and pacing that's throwing me off.
Edit: I just finished the novel, and I'm a bit underwhelmed by this story so far. While it is a nice start to a possibly epic offshoot from the Enthralled series, it just doesn't get there fast enough. Half the beginning could have been edited out, and it wouldn't have impacted the plot much. While I do appreciate this author's style, especially in the sex scenes, and while the narration is phenomenal, I cannot help but think that we were short changed a bit on our credits for this one.
That said, I would like to backtrack a bit and say, I'll be keeping this in my library for now, in the hopes that future installments of this series will not let me down.

Ten percent

eventually it just got overly campy. The sex was way too forced I just found myself wondering who this book was written for.

lots of CHEESE
