Publisher's summary

Two lies.

Two men who don’t share.

I never stopped loving Cole. Not when he left me. Not when he disappeared for three years. Not when he crashed back into my life in a violent explosion of testosterone and fury. His sudden reappearance questions everything I thought I knew, including how I came to love another man.

Trace is an intoxicating breeze of seduction over ice. My rock. My second chance at forever. And he’s committed to annihilating the competition.

The battle that ensues wrenches me back and forth between them.

Fighting and falling.

Resisting and submitting.

Together, they entangle me in a web of lies, rivalry, and desire that weaves as deeply as their devotion to me.

I love two men, and if I can only have one, I choose none.

Am I going crazy, yes! Do I need book 3 ASAP YES! Every time I’m convinced it’s one way something happens. I’m a mess of emotions, but absolutely loving this series!! I cannot wait to see how book 3 plays out.

Also I’m lovinggggg the narrator!! She’s done an amazing job!!!

Another great read

This is the second in the Tangled Lies series! Danni is forced to come to terms with everything she knows being a lie. Her heart is being pulled into two directions with no decision in sight. This was a great continuation of the first book and the ending. God! I can't even begin to express how fast I need to pick up book three so I can know what happens. I'm just as lost as Danni and do not envy the position she's put in [well a little bit] but matters of the heart are never easy. The choice she knows she had to make with crush someone but hurt them all.

Great story.

But why an open ending? I am getting tired of this trend where storyline isn't closed and the book just ends. At least close some loose endings so it seems like it is it's own book. otherwise it is a decent story and Pam Godwin is a good author, so you can't go wrong. -fink

Best Book This Year

Totally blown away by Godwin's writing, the characters and the total mind F**k!

Lisa Zimmerman is a hidden gem who gives a stellar performance. Great pacing, inflection, tone and her delivery of the male dialogue is on point.

It has been months since I've had an audiobook hangover, and I'm happy this book and series earns that title.

First audio book. Surprisingly good.

The story was a little too stretched out. It was a good listen overall though.

Two is a Lie

A good continuation of the story, I will be honest and say I’m having a hard time liking the heroine but I’m hoping book 3 will make me like her again. My heart hurts and beats for BOTH these men! Eager to continue and experience the end of this love story

that cliffhanger!!!

Moving on after you lose the love of your life is hard. Falling in love for a second time is a gift. Having to choose between them when they’re both standing in front of you???!! IMPOSSIBLE.
Man, I don’t typically like love triangles, but I’m invested!! I have no idea how this ends, but gah I do not envy Danni having to make a decision like that.
