It was supposed to be simple. All Navy SEAL Nathan Malone had to do was rescue three young girls from a Colombian drug cartel, then allow himself to be captured just long enough to draw out a government spy. That was before his mission went disastrously wrong… and before his wife, Bella, was told that Nathan was never coming home.
Bella’s mourned her husband’s death for three long years, having no idea that he was still alive. Forced to assume a new identity, the man Nathan was is now dead. If he can get back to his wife, can he keep the secret of who he really is… even as desire threatens to consume them? And as danger threatens to tear Bella from Nathan’s arms once more?

Any additional comments?
This book was fantastic, there was a plot along with the sexually intense scenes. It was not all romance or hot and steamy story line, The plot is what makes you keep listening.Amazing!

Would you consider the audio edition of Wild Card to be better than the print version?
N/AWho was your favorite character and why?
Besides the main characters Rory is my favorite - He is a character to really love. Definetely a good spin off for his character, but overall he is a lovable character. What does Clarissa Knightly bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I love this narrator. She does a wonderful job of switching from various characters and maintain the listener interested. Unlike many narrators that switch from men to women charcters .they tend to have a comical feel to them which then breaks the connection to the story. However, when Ms. Knightly speaks either men or women dialogues the listener is kept engaged in the story.A love to want for

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Probably not. The story could be told in about half the time if some of the "burning" and "fires" were trimmed out. It got pretty redundant after the third hour or so.Did Clarissa Knightly do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
I think this book would have been better with a male narrator. Close to 75% of the book seems to be men talking or men thinking. The narrator is okay, but doesn't make the most sense for this book.Do you think Wild Card needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
No. By the time I got torwards the end, I was just finishing it to say I finished rather than feeling like I wasted so much time listening and not hearing the end.Could use a trim
