Publisher's summary

I was sold to my enemies; the rivalry between the Italians of the Outfit and the Cosa Nostra has been ongoing for decades.

Imagine my terror when I find myself, the daughter of the Cosa Nostra's boss, at the bitter end of a raw deal with the heirs of the Outfit. Now I’m a casualty of a so-called ‘peace treaty,’ forced into the calloused, blood-stained hands of the Moretti brothers: Salvatore, Armani, and Fausto.

The handsome faces of the Outfit bosses don’t hide the monsters that lurk beneath. They claim I’m theirs, that my life was forfeited to them in a pact sealed with my dead father’s blood. But they’re not the only ones who want to own me...

When someone from my past lurks in the dark corners of my new existence, things turn from bad to worse. My cries for help are lost, buried among the chaos of the Moretti's dark world.

My life was never mine, and now, if I don’t figure a way out of this, I’ll become the next victim of the Mafia Wars.

Wilted Orchid is a reverse harem novel in the dark and twisted Mafia Wars world. It is recommended for mature listeners due to strong language, adult situations, and sensitive content including scenes of graphic violence, explicit sex, group scenes and kink exploration.

Briar Rose

I didn't hate this story but I won't buy any more books with this female narrator. She doesn't read, she yells and she has no ability to change her voice as needed for the ambiance of the moment. I had a really hard time continuing to listen and very much regretted buying it as Audio and not a book.

Weak mafia men

Least favorite out of the mafia wars. I thought about not finishing it multiple times. To many weird fillers. Update: I just could not finish.

Meh

Still… nothing is in this series quite stands up to “Forget Me Not Bombshell”. While for me this book was better than others. It still felt like it was rushed. With the understanding that one of the FMC had to be the youngest out of all the women in the marriage pact. It was nutty to go from giggling about Harry Potter to submissive sex queen. In just a chapter or 2. And how her initial consensual sexual experiences were conducted. I get it. This is a fantasy world. But the girl was a virgin. It went from 0-1000. Really quickly

I don’t know?

Wilted Orchid is my least favorite in the Mafia War series. I understand she is 18 years old but I think the first part of this book that explained her daily teenage life could have been shorter and focused more on the relationships with her men. Also, the story could have answer why Marco and father wanted to rule New York so bad and destroy all the Rossi. Some parts were funny because you dealing with 18 year old young woman that has been hidden away and never really interacted with people especially men. The story seemed rushed. The story ended abruptly w/o a glimpse into their future. You don’t know if or how they fulfilled the contract. I don’t know what to think? I might just ask for a refund.

definitely different

I did enjoy this book and I am happy I got it.with each book in this series you get something different because it's a different author for each one and I have only read a few things by loxley and she's definitely very spicy but sometimes hear stories feel a little rushed and this book felt like that, it was drawn out at parts and then rushed at the end, some of the character development was a little off,but overall it was a good story

give it some time

The book is good not the greatest in the series but it wasn't bad. In the beginning it was slow super slow. But as I kept reading the things that happened at at the end of the book helps with the slow start of the book. The book gets better as you continue on. The only thing I have to say these eldest brothers are annoying and lovable at the same time lol.

the only 1 I disliked

Sorry but the MFC's response to everything, ESPECIALLY to the Morretti's treatmentof her, just felt off and wrong, time & time again. She hust so naively overlooked & forgave with no time passing or no amends made. I know she's supposed to be 18yo, sheltered, & naive; but it went to the extreme. It's just not realistically believable. smh..... This is the worse one out of the Mafia Wars series, especially when compared to Ruining Dahlia, Forget-Me-Not Bombshell, & thr Blade of Iris.

The epitome of men written by women

The plot in general was pretty good, but the mailman characters are supposed to be these gruff, murdering mafia men, but they’re waxing poetic and crying. It was like the definition of men written by women. hearing their dialogue out loud was making me roll my eyes saying “no man would say that.”
