Bethany Joy Younkers is a mom, a traveler, a lifelong learner, an educator, a healing-centered integrative wellness advocate and coach, and a plant-based foodie. She is passionate about empowering others to improve their overall well-being through healthy, whole plant-based nutrition, while also understanding that everyone has individual and diverse needs. She believes that a healthy gut is key to a healthy body, mind, and soul, and deeply understands how it is all connected. As a former educator, she witnessed firsthand the impact of food and personal care routines on her emotional and mental states. She now works to raise awareness and create safe spaces to nourish the mind, body, and soul because she believes that healing happens in community with one another. She is committed to providing individuals, specifically women in helping fields, a safe space to achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized coaching and support. She supports individuals who have experienced trauma, loss of power and safety, and those struggling with chronic illness and inflammation to find more harmony and less pain through essential techniques for self-healing, including foods, daily rituals, and lifestyle practices. Throughout her career, she has seen how strong relationships are the foundation of great success, and she keeps this at the forefront of all her work. It's not just about having the best training materials and toolkits, but also having the healing-centered know-how and methods of the individuals supporting the work. Bethany holds certifications in Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching (INHC), trauma-competent professionalism, special education supervision, a Masters in Public Administration focusing on Nonprofit Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Kutztown University. Bethany has turned her love for and career in education into one on integrative nutrition. In her books, Bethany provides easy-to-follow advice and practical tips for improving gut health through diet and lifestyle changes. She understands that not everyone has the time or resources to make major dietary changes, so she focuses on small, manageable steps that can make a big difference in overall health.
