Bruce Goldstein Having fun and being creative is a way of life for Bruce, and his list of credits spans a wide spectrum, in the fields of Entertainment, Music, Publishing, Feature Films, Television, Radio, Print, Internet, and Music Video Production. His musical career began making his professional debut at the age of 11 as a solo percussionist with the "Epstein Brothers Big Band" (National Endowment for the Arts Heritage Award Winners) at the 46th Street Theatre in Brooklyn, New York. In his teen years he performed as percussionist with the New York All-City Orchestra with conductors Leo Sevush and Jonathan Strasser, and in the New York All-City Band with conductor Gabriel Kosakoff (Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation), in addition to concerts with the New York Philharmonic and the London Youth Symphony Orchestra. He graduated the (FAME) High School of Performing Arts in Manhattan at the age of 16 and was off and running. In New York City, Bruce began his business career working for NBC News at 30 Rock, for Columbia Pictures in their Manhattan headquarters, and special projects for Newsweek International. He continued musical endeavors as a staff musician spending 5 years living at the world-famous Grossinger's Resort & Country Club in New York's Catskill Mountains, where he was a percussionist for entertainment legends such as Milton Berle, Henny Youngman, Eddie Fisher, Chita Rivera, Rita Moreno, Dick Shawn, Red Buttons, Julie Budd, Marvin Hamlisch, and Harry Blackstone, Jr. In 1981, Bruce began working at the casinos in Atlantic City, New Jersey - as the show drummer for the Steve DePass Show at the Tropicana Hotel, and for Tony Darrow and Donna Cellini as musical director and drummer/conductor of 25-piece orchestras on the Dom DeLuise Show and Shecky Greene Show at Resorts International. Bruce also conducted for Foster Brooks and Donny Most in Louisville, Kentucky. Relocating to Los Angeles in 1984, Bruce worked on the production teams and appeared in the feature films, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" with Shannon Doherty and Helen Hunt, "3:15 The Moment of Truth" starring Deborah Foreman and Adam Baldwin, "8 Million Ways To Die" starring Jeff Bridges and Rosanna Arquette, "Amazon Women On The Moon" starring Howard Hesseman, and "The Best of Times" starring Kurt Russell and Robin Williams. His production work and television appearances include: 13 episodes of HBO's First & Ten, 5 episodes of CBS' The New Twilight Zone", "Out On A Limb" starring Shirley MacLaine, "It's A Living" starring Ann Jillian, and "The ABC Afterschool Specials". He also appeared in the Jackson's "Body" video directed by Michael Peters, and the Lionel Richie Pepsi Commercial, "Dancing In The Streets." While in Los Angeles, Bruce wrote the original score to the American Premiere of John Godber's "Bouncers" starring Andrew Stevens, and was musical director for L.A.'s longest running hit, "Night Club Confidential" in three productions starring Faye DeWitt, Jim Bailey, and Edie Adams. He also composed his first feature film theme song for the Roger Corman movie "Munchies" starring Harvey Korman. Relocating to Palm Beach County, Bruce conducted as musical director for the "Film Florida Legends Awards with Burt Reynolds", and was the show drummer for "Keely Smith live in Palm Beach". He toured for 2 years with the Nashville Recording Artist "Amber Leigh Band", and subsequently joined the Rock band String Theory, with over 900 performances together. Bruce was also featured as himself in the "Cheerios Love Your Heart" commercial campaign for General Mills. Bruce supported the Palm Beach County Convention & Visitors Bureau and Discover Palm Beach as webmaster/designer and published the Palm Beach County Visitors Guide Magazine. He also led a team of 60 graphic artists and designers as the Production Director for Trader Publishing Company's headquarters in Delray Beach. He composed the original theme "Palm Beach County, Where The Action Is" for the Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission. In 2016, Bruce began his own original Feature Film production, "First Time Out", which he wrote, produced, and directed. In 2021, Bruce published his first book, The Comedy Cookbook For Kids, a compilation of professional cooking tips and secret recipes he gathered during his travels as an entertainer. Currently, Bruce is the President of 3D Come True, LLC, an immersive conceptual design company in Florida, and is developing the online virtual reality experience, Return To The G3D Resort - a reimagining of the memory of Grossinger's Hotel, on Roblox.com
