I'm Joseph Martin Salaiz (Joe), and I was born on April 19, 1974. I had very loving parents, but as you may know that doesn't mean the children will always make the best decisions. Some are just drawn to a darker path. There were influential triggers that helped to propel me down a path like this, as I shared in my book 'Little Green Plant'. I know all too well what 'the bottom' is. A high school dropout, convicted felon, drug addict and defiant to all ends is how Jesus Christ found me. He showed me that I had great worth, and that I could do great things for him. I had always struggled with serious depression, anxiety, BPD, had severe ADD/ADHD and suicidal tendencies. I've learned, that it's people like myself that God wants to do some of his mightiest works through. 1 Corinthians 1:26-31 is what I stand on. It fuels me and strengthens me. He strongly desires the beaten and broken. Today, I am an accomplished disciple of Christ. I'm passionate about youth work (THEY are our FUTURE). I'm passionate about parenthood (the richest blessing I believe one can experience). I am also called to Exhort and Testify. To motivate and encourage. To warn. Whether you're a believer or not, there is 'Good' and there is 'Evil', and they both believe in 'you'. Glory to God for his love and amazing Grace.
