Mary is a novelist and short story author. Her debut short story 'What They Leave Behind' is included in a lighthouse themed anthology 'A Beacon Amidst Shadows'. A Seattle native, Mary holds a certificate in writing from the University of Washington. She draws her stories from the amazing world around her and from a family history chock-full of quirky characters and secrets. Mary is the recipient of two awards from the Pacific Northwest Writers Association for her historical novels.
